As a writer I never focus on negative characters let's alone an actor I haven't come across such a os thankfully but I have come across OS s Where a character is bashed which I have never supported

dont misunderstand...its not a complete OS... Its just like mentioning the negative words/ portraying other actor in a bad light ...

@bold : exactly...writers take many efforts to update their works... I even know writers who wrote till 5 AM in the morning as writing is their passion... The writers really put so much efforts which is really appreciable... and in between these type of WRITEUPS disturb the whole environment

Bashing of characters and actors are not a new thing in D3 forum and everyone are used to it... Some fans fight back to support their favs some keep silence just to avoid fights and some fans ignores the posts and fights... This thing has become normal...

I agree with every word of it. Rest I dunno cuz I don't read much fanfiction/OS and I always avoid the ones on actors.

I welcome this new rule. I think it's really embarrassing for the actors if they ever come across such fiction work written on their personal lives which is not fictional and very much real. Also I find it slightly preposterous.

Thanks Swathi Di.

It was a much needed post and I am glad you took this initiative.

We have come across a lot of bashing of actors on this forum but then degrading a real person in the name of OS and FF is highly unaccepted.

I don't want OSs based on actors to be completely banned, we just need to keep a check on the content of such things as it should be highly discouraged on the forum if somebody gets involved in all this bashing while they are writing something on actors life.

It is a rule to not allow very imaginative OSs on actors. Works on characters are allowed under Fanfictions but there is a rule that actors isnt allowed.

Though in D3 forum, we allowed since till date, no one actally took it for the wrong motives. They would write OSs on their favorite actor and actress paired and just a normal OS.

Seeing the turn of events, we can put the rule on this forum as well. But then, ALL OSs on actors will be banned. Whether just a innocent fan-loving OS or the later one being discussed here.

Everyone would have to accept the rule then.

And yes, you can't open such OSs in Fanfictions as it's already not allowed there 😊

banning of all OS based on actors would be harsh...see for the ones who write and read it out of pure love and affection for their favourites it is really very harsh🤢...even though i am not with this paln for true fans side but i think it is the only alternative😕

but then definitely very imaginative OS on actors becomes too much...coz people do tend to cross the limits...that too many times...

asking people to keep a piece of fiction away from imagination can not be done...we can;t control thw writers if we totally allow them to write on actors and then ask them to edit their writings...they can't keep editing according to people...then it is not their creativity anymore

and just for that reason I think one should chose another way a simpler one...and the best one would be too ban it totally...no problems then at all😊

Yes, we understand that is harsh as not everyone misuses it. That is why the rule was never placed in this forum to begin with. We've always had ArSha, TanHa, TaaRey and VruShan OSs (talking about this forum only, not I-F wide) from many writers and they were never objected by us.

In different situations, there can be difficulty in drawing the lines. Hence, at the end, all might be banned - since problems are brewing up now.

If anyone can suggest a universal way which would work, we'll surely consider it!

I will not give any promises but if you all suggest, I can definitely run it through 😊

Khushi Just my suggestion here

Like most of the Kriyaansh fans are Arsha fans even from long so banning all would not work...

Just like we have a rule post where in Kriyaansh fans cannot coment on Tarey or Taani topics and the vice versa for the other fanbase
How about we put in in clear terms that where a person is writing about their favourite actors no other action of other fandom shall be included

Like Arsha OS/SS/FF must include only Amar and Shakti, Tanha only Sneha and Shantanu, Vrushan with only Vrushika and Shantanu and Vimar and with only Vrinda and Amar

Yes this will limit it up writers imagination but they wont be bashing other actors who are not their favorite...

You want to glory your fav actor let it be done but not at the cost of other actors...

in and arsha OS no other actor has to included

same goes for tanha and vrushaan

please please DO NT BAN ALL THE OS's
