Forever and Ever - Part 2
I picked up my purse and ran to my car not bothering to pick up the smashed remains of my phone.
All that mattered right now was Swayam , my fiance , my would be husband , my future and my soul mate . I drove down the empty strrets , tears filling my vision .

I rushed inside the hospital , frantically looking for his room.A female doctor with clear blue eyes rushed to me ." I'm Mandy . Youe fiance right now is in critical condition . The doctors are trying their very best to keep him alive."
Hot warm currents of grief ran down my face as I asked Mandy the question "H..how did this happen ?"
"We believe that Swayam wasnt looking directly at the road when this occurred . His attention was on something else when another driver in other car drove on opposite lane and couldn't see Swayam's car"
"Due to strong rains ,your fiance noticed this too late and the impact had already killed the other driver .Now there are currently -" her words faded into nothingless as I started to slip away .
I ran away from there . Through the unfamiliar corridors of the hospital with tears stinging my eyes .
I prayed . Prayed to God , praying for a miracle , praying for my swayam , For our future . For us.
"Please god .Please help him . Please I beg you . I love him with all the love in this world , I need him more than anything . Please . i pleaded to him"
No response , just bitter silence in the air . I kneeled down and sat against the wall . resting my head in my lap . I closed my eyes and took deep breathes , slowly falling into a tiring sleep .

Morning came and I rubbed my weary eyes . The memories of last night rushed back to me and I was feeling broken and hopeless again. I stood up , nearly falling on weak fragile knees .
I searched through the endless maze of the hospital to find Swayam's room. My worries washed away when I saw his face through the small hospital's window .
Quickly opening the door , I rushed to his side and holding his pale face in between my hands . He looked so peaceful and gentle with his strong facial features , set jaw and long dark lashes .
Swayam's eyelids fluttered open , revealing those deep dark brown eyes that never once failed to amaze me.
He smiled weekly at me and i ruffled his hair playfully . As always he got irritated by my gesture of spoiling his hair and he tried to set his hair back to his position with his hands.
I took his hand from his hair and held it gently with care ."Please stay with me" .
He didn't speak for a while . "I love you Sharon" , Swayam finaly spoke.
I nodded ,"I love you too".
"What do we do ?"
He gave me a confussed look.
"About the house on the hillside we always wished for ? or the wedding we always planned for? or Tanya , the daughter we always hoped for ?" I asked looking down the floor , completely insecure about our future together.
"Only time will tell " Swayam responded to me , kissing my nose .
A clever idea ran through my head and I let go off his arm."I will be right back Swayam . I promise."
I called Mandy and a few other nurses in front of his room . With my fingers , i motioned hem to gather close to me as I whispered the idea into their ears . Nodding they rushed off to do what I said according to the plan.
As for me , I went to the couple next door to Swayam's . They were a sweet elderly couple that was about to leave the hospital. I knocked on the door and slowly peecked my head in .
"May I please borrow you wedding rings ?"

A Father(priest) from a nearby church pulled up in the parking lot and walked to the hospital's enterance . I greeted him politely and lead him through the hospital and to Swayam's room. He opens his little book and reads a few versus out of the book.
Two small lines of people built a bridge by using their arms as an arch for me to walk through . I heard people laughing and smiling in the background including myself , as happy tears spilled on the floor .
Swayam had the most adorable confused plus suprised expression on his face .
"Swayam" , i began softly , looking into his eyes . "I, Sharon raipraksh want you forever and always . Through the good, the bad and the ugly . i will always love you, Swayam . so please stay with me ."
He looked at me and gave me a weak smile . The beeps on his monitors were slowing down and his voice was barely audible . My heart sunk in my chest and an escaping tear flowed down my cheek .
With his thumb he caressesed my cheek and wiped away the teardrops ." I love you sharon . And please just remember ", he trailed on , his voice hardly a whisper . And his hand slipped away from my cheek .
"No Swayam you can't leave me , I will die without you . You can't die , you just can't die . Please Swayam... Doctor please do something , save him ." I was hysterically crying now .
"You need to wait out Sharon" Mandy said to me .
"I will not leave , I cant let him out of my sight , just please save him. I pleaded .
"Just wait out sharon . We will try our level best " Mandy said coldly but with sadness filled in her eyes .

The wait outside his hospital room was excruciating while the Doctors tried their everything to save him.
The seconds converted into minutes and the minutes into hours . I waited and prayed to keep Swayam safe .
I rembered Swayam's favourite line from the movie Peter pan - "To die will be an awfully big adventure" and how he used to carelessly joke about death to piss me off.
But right now i wanted to fight with death and just could't let anything happen to swayam.

I must have waited for about 5 hours when finally Mandy and an another doctor came out of Swayam's ICU room with a straight face . I just couldn't read there facial expression so asked "S..s.swayam ?"
"He is perfectly stable now , you can go and meet him". Mandy said with a smile on her face .
I just couldnt believe my ears to what she just said and had a superised look on my face , Mandy understood and said "I am serious Sharon".
I had a huge grin on my face and rushed to Swayams room. He looked me in the eye and smiled .
"I hope you still want to marry me and haven't changed your mind ?" Swayam asked with a smirk on his face . "Yes i still do , stupid " I said.
"So give me the ring , what are you waiting for ?" Swayam joked .
"Nothing" I said and passed him the wedding ring I brought from the elderly couple . He put it on my finger and kissed me on my lips passionately and I responded back with all my love .
After we broke away from the kiss completely out of breathe , He said .
"Even if I am not there Sharon . I'll always love you ,forever and always . Forever and ever <3

When I had written this OS , i had planned for a sad ending . But all you guys didn't want me to kill swayam and some people even threatened me that they wanted a happy ending . So i had to fulfil ur wishes and wrote a happy ending to this OS . Enjoy 😃
