It was finally rose day and Rey was getting ready for his plan. No dance was what AVP wanted but he was not going to let that happen. He looked at his phone and sighed, he missed talking to her. But he knew he had to stay strong on his target. It had become Taani vs Rey and Rey needed to win this battle. He grabbed his phone and left his house for early morning rehearsals. Their rehearsals were going great, his friends were back on track, except for Taani.
Aur main? he kept remembering what she said to him when he said his friends were victims. He straight out told her that they are not friends and it was true, if she wanted to be GS she had to get used to him as an enemy. But he couldn't help but feel like punching a wall every time he was the reason for her sadness. He was upset with her, not because she became the GS but because she became the GS and was standing against him.
Shaking his head from his thoughts he made his way to rehearsal hall where the gang was. The entire hall had changed ever since AVP made the hall a public student center. "Yaar jab bhi yahan pe aate hai uss AVP se itna gussa." Bharat started saying.
"Bharat jo bhi ho woh hamari AVP hai." Swayam said. "Come on guys we came here for dance." They were about to start when Taani came in with a whole bunch of papers.
Taani was so lost in her papers she didn't realize that instead of going through the door she had bumped right into it and twirled and fell all her papers falling as well.
"Taani tum thik toh ho!" Swayam said as he couldn't help but laugh at the bewildered expression on his sister's face.
The boys were all looking at Rey. Rey's worried expression when she fell. They all looked at each other and raised their hands again. Rey went over and started picking up the fallen papers but Taani had snatched it out of his hands.
"Thanks." She said quickly as she picked up the rest of it. Rey tried to help again but Taani snatched the papers away again, "Dost nahi." She reminded him as she got up.
"Sorry I didn't know that you all were here, I'll pretend that I didn't see anything I just needed to hang these sheets up." Taani said before quickly making her way to the desks and posting the notices.

"Taani stay na join us." Simi said looking at Neha and Rini who agreed. For the past two days since Rey vs Taani had began they noticed that Taani would be completely normal when they were in the girls locker room but when they were around the gang and rey in general she would always make an excuse and leave.
"Nahi its okay ya'll carry on AVP has called me to her office anyways." Taani said with a forced smile.
"Toh jao na yahan pe kyun khari hoon." Rey said rudely again. He knew he could see it in her eyes how much his rudeness affected her but he couldn't help his anger.
"Main ja hi rahi hoon." Taani said.
"Arey Taani listen!" Rini said but Taani had run out of there.
"Rey you are getting too rude now a days." Rini told him.
"What Rini are you listening to yourself she's the GS AVP's right hand and our new enemy." Rey said.
"Then why is everyone being nice to her but you're not." Simi said. "Rey agar woh humari dushman hoti na then we wouldn't be here this early in the morning."
"Guys leave it, we only have an hour before school starts." Swayam said stopping the fight that was going to start. The gang danced as much as they could and before they knew it they had to go change for college.
"Bye guys." The girls said as they left.
"Arey girls par dance!" The boys said knowing they had to get the girls to go with them to the dance or they wouldn't have a way to enter the dance.
"Abey yeh ladkiyan itna bhav kyun khati hain!" Bharat said. Rey's mind was already preoccupied with Taani. The boys all went to the locker room.
In the girls locker room Taani was sitting there a hurt expression on her face as she held in her tears. Why couldn't he see how much his attitude was hurting her.
"Taani!" the three girls said as they saw her sitting there and went to go hug her. "You know if Sharon was here she would be so proud to how you are standing up for yourself." Simi said.
"Thanks guys." Taani said before putting a big smile on her face. "Ab aap sab yeh bataye ke aap sab dance mein kiske saath jaane wale hain."
"Taani we're going to make the boys work hard." They grinned and giggled.
In the boys locker room the boys were all sitting lost in their own thoughts. Swayam had gotten a phone call from Sharon so he had already left as the boys teased him about finding a date to the dance.
"waise rey who are you going with?" Vicky asked as all the guys got together surrounding Rey.
"I hadn't even thought about that." Rey said.
"There is a girl ready made." Nil said.
"Kaun?" Rey asked.
The guys all looked at each other and said, "Taani!"
"What, are you guys mad!" Rey asked before leaving. "Hey rey wait!" the four guys said not knowing that Swayam had heard everything and made a decision about the night.
The guys were all walking when they saw a guy stop Taani and give her a rose. The girls saw the boys and gasped, "Wow he's cute." Simi said earning a glare from both Swayam and Rey. The guys looked at Rey and raised their hands.
"Taani you are doing a great job as GS." The guys said to Taani as the gang stood around the corner spying on them.
"Thank you." Taani gave him a small smile.
"I wish there was dance at today's rose day party though." The guys said.
Taani gave a small smile and said, "Me too." Rey looked at both of them wanting nothing more then to go there and push that guy out of the way and give a flower to Taani himself. Swayam looked between Rey and Taani and the guy with a flower.
"I wish there was an after party or something with dancing." he trailed off.
Taani's face immediately changed as she got an idea. She smiled, "after party" she said to herself as her smile became wide.
"Wow, she looks like pehli wali Taani." Rini said. "He must have said something really sweet for her to say yes." Simi said making Rey's jealousy mount even higher.
Taani accepted the rose and said, "Thank you rose day pe dosti nibhane ki liye." She said before running off as her happy self.
The gang all came out and laughed hard! "Oh my god did you see his face!" Swayam said as he looked at the guy who stood confused.
"Dosti? Par date?" he wondered.
Rey felt his heart calm down. He needed some time alone to figure out what was wrong with him. He quickly left the gang, "Hey rey where are you going?" Nil said as the other guys raised their hands again.
Rey thought about what Taani had said to him. Why was he acting all strange with her? Why did it affect him so much. Why was he so angry? He stopped as he saw another guy give Taani a rose. That was it he walked over to Taani and held her hand. She looked up at him confused. Without a word Rey dragged Taani off to the fire escape as the gang watched. Swayam nodded his head knowing his decision for the dance tonight was good.
"Rey yeh aap kya kar rahe hain!" Taani asked him.
"Me, what about you?" Rey asked angry. "abhi abhi shivam se break up aur abhi ek new date?" rey asked her.
Taani narrowed her eyes and said, "Hum dost nahi hai na Rey so why do you care?" she asked making a move to leave but Rey's arm blocked her.
"Kyunki mujhe farak padta hai!" Rey yelled slamming his hand against the wall. "Har baar farak padta hai, jab shivam ki saath thi tab, jab roti ho tab, jab hasti ho tab, hamesha padta hai." He said for the first time admitting his feelings to himself and to her.
"And even then you hurt me the most." Taani said before running out of the fire escape. Rey closed his eyes and said, "I'll get you to forgive me by tonight."
Rey met with the rest of the gang at the canteen and saw that the girls were still mad at him for being rude to Taani.
"Guys i have something to say." Rey said as he spent the next few minutes apologizing for his behavior with Taani. The guys all smirked and the girls forgave him.
"So anyways what have ya'll decided for the dance?" Rey said as he saw Taani come in.
Swayam saw Taani come in and said, "I've decided to take my sister as my date." He smiled. The boys looked at each other and nil called them over, "Dekha swayam is doubting taani and rey!"
"Kya?" Taani asked.
"Haan remember jab hum chote the aur hum chupke se ice cream dates pe jaate the, with all of our cousins." Swayam said as Taani laughed, "Like that."
"Aw." The girls said.
"Bhai waise toh i'd love to but I can't I already have a date." She said making both Reyam's face drop. The boys made thier chemistry sign again.
"With who." Rey aksed with more force then he should have.
"He's the heart throb of every girl in this country." Taani said with a dreamy look.
"Your going with who Taani?" Neha asked confused.
"The most perfect guy ever made." Taani said again making Rey even more jealous.
"Shahruk Khan." Taani said making everyone laugh. Rey stood there with his arms crossed over his chest smiling at how cute Taani looked.
"DDLJ, kuch kuch hota hai, mohabbatein, aur" Taani said but neha interupted, "Kabhi khushi kabhi gham."
"I have all the DVDs lined up." Taani said.
"But Taani if you don't get then who am I going to go with?" Swayam pouted.
"Rey hai na bhai. Waise bhi sab boys ko aape aur rey ki rishte pe shak tha." Taani laughed as Reyam gave them all disgusted looks.
Just then the peon came and told Taani that AVP had called her.

It was the party night and Swayam had tried to convince Taani to come but she said that she was comfortable in her pajamas and was ready for a night in with dvds, popcorn, and a shahruk khan marathon.
She was just about ready when the door bell rang. "Bhai?" she wondered. She opened the door and her jaw dropped to see Rey standing there ready with a box in his hand. He handed her the box and said, "Get ready we're going to the dance."
"Kya aap pagal hai?" Taani asked him.
"Taani I know that i've hurt you alot." Rey said. "But I promise I'll make up for it." He took out a bouquet of white yellow and red roses. "Mujhse dosti karogi?" He asked with a smile knowing that she would like his filmyness.
Taani smiled and went to go get dressed. She put on the cute red dress that Rey had gotten her and came downstairs.
"Don't get the wrong idea I havne't forgiven you yet." Taani said as Rey opened the door for her with a smile.
When they got to the dance AVP was already there counting the votes for rose king and queen. The entire gang was shocked seeing taarey enter the dance together.
"Guys I have an idea." Rey said, "Rose king is giong to be me swayam made sure of that, so whoever rose queen is I will dance with her. Against avp." he said. The gang nodded.
"Rose king is Rey." AVP announced "and the rose queen is...Taani!" She announced. Taani's eyes widened as she stepped in the center of the dance hall next to Rey. Swayam's eyes flew to them and he looked shocked.
The boys held their hands up high with their chemistry sign as one of the kids from their class turned on music. "Dance!" the students yelled as Rey smiled at a nervous Taani. Rey put an arm around Taani's waist and brought her closer.
As the song started Rey danced with Taani watching her smile and have fun. Twirling her into him he whispered, "Dost hoon tum meri...bohot aachi dost...I'm sorry Taani please forgive me." He said sweetly, cutely asking for her forgiveness. He didn't have an answer to why he behaved differently towards her, all he knew was that his feelings were strong towards her and no matter what he didn't want to lose her.
Taani smiled and nodded. And like that Rey's and Taani's smile had returned as they now knew that they would handle what ever AVP threw at their direction together.
