They are keeping open ends regarding the Soul posssession track, so that viewers should not guess black or white, like @Nandini said.
1. They didn't show technically Bhim dev soul entering or leaving Chandra.
2. No soul smoke is shown, but Chandra himself acts like the Soul entering into him (like we saw today in Badrakethu scene)
3.Like @ipsi said, Chandra didn't take Nandhni's words seriously. Afterwards Nandini also not giving it a thought.
4.When Helena came in, Chandra was standing there quite normal.
5. Bhim dev just smiled at Mohini, but they didn't speak a word about this.
Still Chandra thinking in Bhim's voice, his attack on Badrakethu and his misbehaviour with daasis all are there to confuse us. But considering certain other facts, most importantly thinking that they cannot risk to reduce CGM character to a mere fool who can easily be controlled by any sort of tantrik vidya and showing CGM's mind too weak that couldn't resist such tricks from the enemies then how he became CGM and what Chanakya was training him all these years? So still my vote goes for 'Chandra is acting' or else it is a catestrophe, no doubt.
