Precisely, my dear Sangeetha! Beautifully and aptly put.👏

I felt exactly the same after watching last night's episode, especially about @blue, which reinforces what I have written in the post about the relationship between Chandra and Nandini. It was such a serious, sensible and appealing scene - the conversation between them. It struck me even more than the subtly shifting equation between Chandra and Chanakya. It is but rarely that one gets to see a husband handling his wife so astutely and yet affectionately in a tricky matter. He says exactly what he should say, no more, no less, and he says it in just the right way, It was wonderful.

It seemed it was almost time for me to stop complaining about his brain! However I will only decide on this at the end of this track, because i want to see how he is going to unravel this Nandini-Roopa knot he has made.

If my hands had not been hurting so much, I would have done a mini post about it last night, but I could not. I am so glad that you have made the point, or rather points.

Do take good care of your fingers aunty, though i too wish it did not hurt so much

Yes, our Chandra, he is growing up, and into Chandragupta Maurya.

I think I am in love

Sri, HOW COULD YOU? 😲

I have been in one branch of rajneeti all my working life, after beating all the boys in the civil services exams, and I would most definitely not agree with this sweeping generalisation of yours!

There is no such thing as a male brain or a female brain. There are only smart people, artistic people, woolly headed people, stupid people, and so on. It is also in good part a matter of conditioning and training.

As for Chandra, till the week before last, he had to have every scheme of Chanakya's explained to him. But he is growing up fast, and I loved his reassuring attitude towards a temporarily emotionally derailed Chanakya last night.

Nandini may be a princess but she keeps indulging in adhoc exercises like writing a letter to her Guru.

There were too many security lapses. How did she get writing material and seal in basement ? And can outstation courier be given just like that to a daasi ? You need horses to deliver messages. Guru Adinath came in a flash as if he was waiting near compound wall.

😆

The last line is hilarious!

But this is the routine is this show, like the way folks apparate from Pataliputra to Takshashila and back in less than a week! I can think of many more questions. Where does Nandini bathe, and who manages her changes of clothes, to take only a couple of things?

On the contrary, Chandra bides his time and waits for the situation emergence to catch Roopa red-handed and foist a case against her supporters. This is where the male brain works much smarter than a female brain when it comes to messy and tricky Rajaneeti.

Periyamma... I want to see the episode, read your analysis, enjoy it, add my two cents to it too (if that's possible...) I'll do it in the next couple of days once I've got 29 out of the way... so please bear with me!
and do take care 🤗

Apologies in advance, the feminist in me got the better of me reading your last line😉. I dont know the basis of your conclusion, but frankly, whether it be in a office set-up or domestic, women face and see through a lot politics than men ever have to. As far as intelligence is concerned, thats quite a medieval thing to say that female brains are less smart than males.
Even Ekta Kapoor wont agree with you on that , all her most impish and brainy characters are all vamps.Men are merely accessories which is why to see Chandra react in an intelligent manner is a rare pleasure😊

Looks like I have lit a small fire in Akka's thread. 😆 - I get cheap thrills doing this kind of stuff.
But seriously I have some points to make but unfortunately on a 6 day trip to Punjab and Himachal starting tomorrow. So will come back and share my views on why I said so.

Till then, all missiles welcome. 😆😃

Aunty,
As always your posts are like the feel good factor in bursts through the day. Esp. when the situation is going on so great in the series that we are investing our time in.
BTW, the promo that showed Nandini getting stabbed totally destroyed the line in which I was thinking - Nandini finding out Chandra manipulating her into not telling Rupa is her sister and getting Nand killed, leading to misunderstanding between them. On one hand I feel this is a good way to get Nandini stabbed. Because obviously again the theory holds that heroine cannot die. So this is a way to bring C & N even closer than they have already become, Chandra will weep and weep until she gets well and then will finally confess that he is in love with Nandini. 😛
But on the other hand, what after that? With no misunderstanding between the lead pair what will you show in a series?😆 May be later they can bring Durdhara s poisoning as an issue on which Nandini can be doubted, but somehow I feel these two have already got over their trust issues, and now Nandini cannot stand as a candidate for Chandra s distrust for any such mishap. Will they show Durdhara giving birth to Bindu and dying and Nandini bringing him up? There was this theory also that Nandini cannot be a mother after the stabbing incident, so she loves Bindu as her child all the more.
Bottomline is, if they bring the lead pair into a confessional within 6 months of a series starting what are they going to show further? Or are they ready to wrap up the series due to falling TRPs. Too much pessimistic thinking I agree. But still the mind wanders looking at such speedy proceedings 😲

My dearest Lashykanna,

It is you who have to bear with me, child, for I am running a deficit of 3 chapters of HBAS by now. I was planning to do them tomorrow, and now I am appalled to learn that you are going to post one more chapter by then and add to my burden of guilt! Oh Lord!

The first two scared me stiff and I had trouble even reading them, and the third made me feel very sad for poor Akbar. Well, let me see what I make of them.

Don't worry about this one, which is mostly a paean to the Chandra-Nandini relationship. There is hardly anything to discuss there. Last night, the precap of Friday was expanded into a very sweet scene between them, of a kind that I could not imagine a saas-bahu type director thinking up. But he did, and it was there.

Mine is not a missile, Sri, it is more like a neutron bomb!

Have a pleasant and safe trip. Himachal should be wonderful at this time of the year.

Don't fret, my dear Pratiksha! Just go with the flow and enjoy what you can like, Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof! Just look at the incredibly sweet scene into which the previous episode's precap was expanded last night! So gentle and affectionate, and yet with no raw passion or even sensuality at all. The director must be quite exceptional to be able to think up such segments. That, and the remarkably rational scene between Chandra and Nandini later, it was truly exceptionally sensible and very well written.

And do not worry about the future tracks, There will be one with a chudail who covets Chandra and hates Nandini, there will be a major fallout between Chhaya and Malay, there will be a tussle over baby Bindusara between Helena and Nandini, there will be Helena plotting to poison the kid's mind against Nandini, the list can be endless. And I have not even touched on Chandra having to marry Chanakya's daughter, because no one else will marry her after she has been in Padmanand's clutches for so long.

See what all can be cooked up! So chill, my dear. The chudail is coming for sure, and all I ask is that she be a gorgeous, slinky temptress, not an overweight belly-dancer!😆

The TRPs are not falling. They are not rising, but then the ones for Pardes mein hai mera dil, with Ekta's premium pair , are worse. I think this show will limp along for 300+ episodes.

Thank you for such a charming comment about my post. It is a lovely (and original) thought.

SAMMAAN COULD HAVE BEEN USED INSTEAD, I GUESS

BOTH ARE A TRANSLATION OF IZZAT, WHICH WAS, I ESSENCE WHAT CHANDRA WAS TRYING TO PROTECT 😆
