and moves on to slo-mo wounded female who is falling down
but just before she hits the ground hero catches her
Her dress is getting soaked in blood now
Hero pulls out the knife. His hands covered in her blood
He will say 'Why? WHy did do this?'
She will reply '(spluttering/.coughing in pain)I wanted (gasping) to (cough...cough..) to...give you my ...my...my...life (as in valkai) (heaving-sputtering)...but I could not (pauses for breath). But...but...(smiles while gasping) I am happy ...to give ...you...my ....(coughs real bad) life ...to save you...
Hero will hold her tight and cry pots and buckets worth...and will say No ...NO...NO...
She will continue with ...gasp...gasp...splutter...big gasp....I ...I ...Love...you
The you will be fading away as she will die finishing that sentence
Hero will hug her like he going to crush her and look up to the sky and scream

No, no, my dear. I said that Roopa, if she dies having saved Chandra's life, will probably die with her head in his lap.

Sarika, that is called filmi style because that is the way the third angle in a romantic triangle, the girl or man who loves but is not loved, dies heroically!

How can Nandini die? Of course not. She will survive the stabbing, but as Sandhya has suggested, maybe because she is stabbed in the abdomen, she may not be able to have children.

The big question is :what of Padmanand?

Anne, thanks a million, my dear girl. You saved me some effort, and responded to Sarika ten times better than I would have done, which was to put down the following:

Sarika, that is called filmi style because that is the way the third angle in a romantic triangle, the girl or man who loves but is not loved, dies heroically!

Plus I am laughing enough to get a stitch in my side. You are an original, you are!

Only, it is not in the hand of, but in the arms of. One has to be accurate on the details of these iconic scenes!😆

A lot of times hero fills the mang of the heroine warns her atma bhatakti rehti hai 😆

Anne the film had me in splits for all the wrong reasons but I enjoyed it my hubby was like much bhi dekhti rehti hai tera bharosa nahi😆

Today's opening chandra nandini scene, specialy the sleeping scene was so beutiful. It was as pure as moonlight. The fresh sweet closness which there was no single hint of desire or passanate is very much unique to this couple now.
