Ya! That wig how did I forget it! But shall I tell you one thing! Subtitles really would not have helped because everyone starring in that movie was speaking two full pages of dialogue at the word 'action' that you would never be able to read it fully before the next scene came. Moreover, to tell the truth nobody would lose anything by not understanding the dialogues. I had a great time watching it for fun not because it was great or good but because it was supremely ridiculous.

I think our CN Chandra will rebel against Chanakya after Durdhara's death. Then Nandini becomes everything to Chandra, brings up Bindusara like a mother, and helps Chandra in Akhand Bharath Nirman and makes Chandragupt the Mahaan Samrat Chandragupt Maurya with her Hriday and Prem and thus fulfilling Bharath Mata's homilies on the subject.

Well, this will be truly standing history on its head! I do not think this will happen at all.

In any case, at least historically, once Nand (here Padmanand, in reality Dhananand) has been disposed of, Chanakya retired from the Mahaamatya post, to which he appointed Amatya Rakshas. He then went away, and most likely compiled his Arthashastra.I am sure this will be shown here, but only right at the end.

As for your understanding of the 1990 Chanakya, my dear Shailaja, I am afraid that is completely wonky. I have watched it 4 times, the last one 2 months ago, and the whole last 10 episodes, including Chandragupta's rebelling against Chanakya, is one gigantic con trick perpetrated by Chanakya on Rakshas. Chandragupta is briefed in advance and plays his part, that is. Watch it again right to the end and you will get it this time.

The whole charade was meant to neutralise Amatya Katyayan - which was his real name, he was nicknamed Rakshas because he was so ferociously strict and hard-working - wean him off his blind Nand-bhakti, and get him, with his tremendous abilities, to be the main, and loyal prop of the Mauryan empire. But then that Rakshas was a splendid piece of casting - he was the Daksh in DKD Mahadev, not like this weird creature we have here.

My dear Sri,

You disappoint me!😉 Why should you depend on anyone agreeing with you, or not? You think what you think, and that is it!

Akka - 😆 🤣

Next to you, Sands has the most logical arguments, based on my experience. So if I think like her on upcoming sequences like her, I treat it as a growth for me. 😆 😃

Anjali my pet,

Thanks a lot for this snippet - it has not yet been shown in the telecasts - and also for the felicitations! Any more of this sort of thing and I shall get a swollen head, like a balloon, and very likely float off into the wild blue yonder!😆

It is Nandini Padmanand stabs, of course. Nothing else will fit in.

Well, one sees that Nandini is going to get an unexpected intro to her pitamaharaj's real nature. The rest will probably develop as per Sandhya's draft scenario - she will get her jollies, the ones she was cheated of last week😉, with Chandra weeping gallons. I only hope Rajat does better than he did in that scene about Chhaya, that is all.

The bit about the stabbing being the reason for Nandini's subsequent childlessness is rather neat, Sandhya.👏 But Chandra does not need this mothering bit to have his bond with Nandini enhanced. It is already as strong as spider's silk, which is said to have many times the tensile strength of steel.

Why Nandini goes in Roopa's place in not yet clear. I presume she is not told of Roopa being carted along at all, and must have latched on the delegation, being confident her being able to get Nand to let Bharati go free.

But all this leaves three major questions still unanswered.

1) What about Padmanand? One presumes that Chandra kills him at once as soon as he has stabbed Nandini taking her to be Roopa. But he might well escape in the melee, while Chandra sobs over Nandini's prone body, as a dress rehearsal for what is to come.

2) What about Roopa? She will still be around, unless she ups and stabs Padmanand in the back - the perfect place! - while he is weeping gallons over his priyatamaa putri. But that will still leave her around. I do not see her as a candidate for a change of heart.

3) What happens when Nandini eventually finds out that Chandra knew all along about Roopa being her twin?

I think it is Nandini whom Nand stabs!😲

Amatya Rakshas probably got wind that Chanakya is about to bring Roopa in Nandini's place. And Nandini has in her eagerness to meet her father and save Chanakya Putri, switched roles in the nth hour without Chandra's or Chanakya's knowledge.

Results:
1. Nandini will learn that her Pitaji Maharaaj is a devil who was good only to her.
2. Chandra will cry tanks - Ekta will wish to duplicate the Mazhar Scene
3. This will be the worst punishment for Nand for his atrocities - stabbing the only person who was dear to him, himself.
3. This incident may probably leave Nandini childless. Enhancing the bonds with a motherless Bindusaar and thus Chandra himself.

Thanks for the video Anji. Looks interesting. Looking forward to the track.😃

I watched Chanakya when I was a child along with my dad. Never watched it completely after that again. So I am speaking a lot from memory. And I was hardly old enough to have understood its intricacies or subtleties except know that it was excellent and a true masterpiece. The more recent discontinued Chandragupt Maurya on NDTV Imagine I remember better. But at the time it was stopped the story hardly came to that point. Dhananand was still alive, kicking and plotting away. So my information is truly wonky on 1990 Chanakya.

Logic is not very relevant in these situations, Sri dear. My logical plot predictions usually get nowhere. These two recent successes are flukes.

As for Sandhya's, of late, she has been copy pasting Jodha Akbar situations on to this show, and lamenting in advance. The advantage of this method is that when one is right, one can pat oneself on the back, and when one is wrong, one can rejoice at that too !😉

OK, this is enough for me to today. Look at the questions I have posed above, and think of answers for them. I will try and see you again tomorrow.
