Dear Aunty, sorry for my lachrymose vein. I would earnestly hope to be proved wrong, and you right in your assessment of the situation. Filmistan Anaarkali is not a sweet prospect to contemplate. If track Atifa is rebooted, there is nothing more I could complain. The post was really wonderful. I wonder if I could have been so charitable and forthcoming about the previous week as you have been here. But then, your views have always been balanced. I have always been very emotional about whatever I like and whatever I dislike. But the post was in many respects better than the actual episodes. I loved reading this post.

No,no,Ria dear, you got it all wrong, I am afraid. The dhai kilo ka haath scenario and the other two points I had listed were not mine. They were those of the lamenters on my last thread, and I was only summarising them!😉

My hope was that Chandra would have planned the whole walling in business so that he could rescue Nandini and then somehow nab the culprit. Which turned out, for once, to be justified, and I am very pleased about it!

Well, child, I have, for once, got it right - the precap tonight, where Chandra uses Nandini to scare Roopa, who is pretending to be Nandini and hugging him, was marvellous. Roopa of course thinks it is Nandini's ghost. The expression on Chandra's face as he exclaims Jao, Roopa, jao! Yeh to abhi prarambh hai! , was wonderful.

He has to get Roopa to confess to her guilt. Whence the ghostly shenanigans, in cahoots with Nandini. Roopa's impersonation alone does not prove that it was she in every instance. Nothing like a supposed ghost to scare the bejesus out of someone with a guilty mind! We are going to have some fun for the rest of the week, it seems!😉

It is not Chhaya who has warned him, as some are speculating, for Chandra tells Daadi that Chhaya is still in a coma because of Nandini. He is playacting, but her still being in a coma has to be a fact.

So clearly it is not she who has woken up just to tell him the truth and has then gone back to shamming being in a coma! There is NO evidence from Chhaya as far as has been indicated till now.

While I am gratified by the swift readjustment by those who were drawing up Jalal-like scenarios till 2 days ago, why does one now have to search for ways to diminish any credit for Chandra and to give it to Chanakya? It is strange that the poor chap cannot get any brownie points even when he has earned it.

But I am pretty sure Chandra has thought it all up on his own, for Chanakya was not in Pataliputra at all when all this shindy was going on, so there is no way he could have told Chandra to pull Nandini out! If he had been there, he would never have permitted the sentencing at all.

And while we are about it, I need to be given some credit too.😉 I was the only one who had faith in Chandra, and that for strictly logical reasons, not sentimental ones, all of which I have detailed in this post.

Finally, I am very pleased that you enjoyed this post so much. It seems better than the episodes because I have left out all the substandard parts!😆 More than being charitable and forthcoming, I have been selective to good effect, that is all.

I am getting ready to open up the Moet Chandon, my dear Pratiksha !

That splendid precap calls for a champagne celebration, does it not? It is only rarely that I get something like this right, and this was a major issue, and I am delighted. All the more so because my stand was based purely on logic and what they had shown us, not on sentiment.

I am getting tired now, but do take a look at my response above to Shailaja, which pretty much sums up my feelings at this moment. We are going to have fun for the rest of the week, it seems, with all these ghostly goings on!😆
