It is an old Telugu Historical movie of the same name. I have seen the 1990s Chanakya on Doordarshan. So seeing all the big names associated in this venture, I expected something on similar lines. But this one is a league and class apart. Specially not to miss is Shivaji Ganesan's Alexander in short pants. My husband, who had the misfortune to watch this in theatre, assures me that it was a super duper flop show. None of you would have seen anything like this! If you actually find time, please do watch it. All of you will fall out of your chairs laughing your heads off. There are lot of heavy-duty, melodramatic dialogues in Telugu. But all that will hardly matter. This is one laugh fest. So the bottom line and moral is that our CN was never this bad. I will never criticize the show or its makers about anything here onwards.
