Big surprise, isn't it Pratiksha? It rarely happens that I criticize Rajat or his acting. This was wholly not Rajat's folly either. The dialogues, the way the scene was shot, a very desperate attempt was made to din in without even an iota of doubt which anybody might harbor regarding Nandini's initiative in helping Chandra find his missing Hriday. The scene would have definitely worked better if it had been understated, with minimum dialogues, sans this excessive encouragement and cheerleading by Nandini asking him to cry. The chap was anyhow going to bawl where was the need for her to urge him cry, cry, you will feel better. In my opinion, Rajat should have spoken very less, his face a picture of absolute shock, incomprehension, a numbness, disbelief, inability to come to terms with the reality, etc. And as for Nandini, she shouldn't have spoken much except perhaps holding his hands in hers and allowing him to speak if he was willing to speak, if not, just be there for him in his testing times. The dialogues should have been more on the lines of "I just can't believe this happened! Just a while back the baby was fine, my sister was hale and healthy. Now her baby is no more and my sister. (He could cry a bit at this point before continuing) For all my power, I am helpless."This dialogue had to stop here. I just could not imagine why Chandra had to go on and on that everybody would laugh at Magadh Naresh that he could not take care of his sister properly or save her baby. I am a bad brother and stuff. It was an accident or so everybody thinks. He isn't going to get a dream that Chaaya will have a fall and he is going to stand beside with nets ready to catch her if she falls, and smelling salts ever ready in his pocket if she faints.
