And one last point, Sri - I always have one last point, regardless of how tired I am!

I am against the endless repetition of a thesis based on a mistaken premise. One should stick to the facts.

I did not want to go into this here, for I will cover this in detail in my new post, but Daadi does NOT mention caste at all. She explicitly used only two words raj gharana.

Shailaja, I too have checked that scene out to make sure that my fundamental premise was not mistaken, and you are not right there- she does not say kshatriya or vaishya

Now sit down and think about what that will do to all these elaborate and repetitive arguments! That is why I said that you could all wait for my post and then argue about it if you still wanted to. Of course no one paid any attention to me, but went on endlessly barking up the wrong tree. Which is what makes me tired.

Sandhya in all fairness to you, both of us were merely discussing things though on mistaken premises perhaps as Aunty has mentioned. My later response, though a bit general, was neither for you nor Sri. I just think everything blew out of proportion because my mood was much off even earlier due to a very bad sore throat, cold, feverishness, several personal reasons and an additional writer's block to boot. Now my writer's block has cleared to some extent and I am back to writing my FF spoiling my night's sleep over it. I assure you guys nothing keeps my mood better and happier than writing stories or FFs. And Khushi darling, no hard feelings for you either! I was just not in a mood for practical pleasantries and joking around today and cut up rough. You have not put me off and hope I haven't put any of you off either. Have a nice day all of you, and I am back to writing my FF chapter.

Yes, it is! Feeling pretty terrible. And the weather outside in Iowa is not making it any better. It is in sub-zeroes outside. This is my first year here in US. And I am told that this is the mildest winter they have had in years. Very little snow! But it is a vast transition from India for me.
