Character analyses apart, here Nandini seems to be like that of Jodha... hate to love... though Paridhi was better stuff, despite her Bhashans! 😊

Helena, a probable Ruquaiya... she is just a little more brainy but her art of making a royal mess out of her rooms is very much in place 😉

And Durdhara, the sweet and loving Salima Begum... only tadka in the tale... she wants a Patni Parameshwar bhakt husband 😆

Please tell me Durdhara is better than Salima... not another wallflower 😭

I think because all scenes from start to finish were good👏

Btw, how are you finding Durdhara?

She's good. Better than nandini😆

Actually her looks suits her character. She was looking simple, innocent and a little playful.
With playful, I remember some comments of forum members about nandini. Well that playfulness is quite irritating.. this scene was interesting and I smiled watching them, which is very rare😆

Exactttly - She's the right kind of playfulness... I had a smile too!
Light-hearted but in touch with reality... maybe that's why we're liking it.. plus, she's prettier????🤔
I wrote this in an earlier post too -
she jokes about patni parameshwari, but she is happy to take his plate from him... and pour water to help him wash his hands...
She doesn't look like damaged goods... she's alright with Chandra saying there can be nothing between them (which many girls' egos might take wrongly) and she's able to accept what Chandra says about her father (which is not kind) she's bindaas!

Maybe she lacks the fire that Nandini/Helena have... but she seems like the yin for his yang at this point...no? 😳😉

1) Chandra saying there can be nothing between them (which many girls' egos might take wrongly)- she isn't in love with Chandra at the moment n Chandra isn't her husband...my point is that she will be a control freak once she is married to Chandra...that much was very much established yesterday...

2)what Chandra says about her father (which is not kind)-.That's because she doesn't really respect her wife beater of a father...n she also knows that Chandra is only commenting in good humour.

She will be a dutiful wife in every other respect, but I think this will be her only n biggest flaw...she will want to control Chandra...

Is it because you and I are the only ones who have read this series... or our minds really click! I really really wonder if you are my hive mind?!😆

It was so obvious! 😆 The moment the scene clicked me and I remembered Sadashiv series, I was damn sure that here's another one buddy of mine right in this forum who is thinking the same! 😃

Not only were my thoughts in the same line as yours, in fact, after that scene, I was compelled to ponder, if one of the CVs had read Saradindu babu's books... I mean from Chandra's appetite... Durdhara and her strict rotund bellied father... to the possibility that he is probably a village headman sorta... it all matches!
Really, everything was so common between them. 😃 Remember how Kunku used to feed her portion of food to Sadashiv 😳 And her father too... 😆 It might be possible that cvs are going through Saeadindu Amnivas now, Chandra= Chitrak+Sadashiv+Vajra(though confused if this name suits here right now or not)+(will be added later) 😆

So far, she is better, I am loving her... and the makers are justifying her role too... but you see, it wasn't Salima's fault that she was reduced to wallflower... CVs made her that.
So long as she isn't reduced to anything of that sort we can chill out and enjoy her soothing screen presence... though sadly, as per the hints, she is the one who's going to die of poisoning!

>>> She understands him well. She knows why he's like this though I really can't understand how can they be childhood friends? but I can ignore this thing as I enjoyed the episode and her character too.😛

But those who've seen Ashoka say the 3 girls here match the 3 girls there... (including Durdhara's family)🤔

Actually only the Durdhara-Chandra scene is like Saradindu babu's story... like Sadashiv and Kunku... the three ladies might be a take away from Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat... with Devi, Kaurvaki and another lady, as the Ashoka viewers are citing... nothing there! 😊
