She is the new item in town. Errr' item girl, we mean. After her big win at the Bigg Boss 4 and a successful stint in TV, Shweta Tiwari has not only bagged an item number in Dhanraj Jethani's comedy Bin Bulaye Baraati but an important role too. Reportedly she replaced Mallika Sherawat, who was doing a couple of songs for the film but will now be seen hip-shaking to just one. A reliable source tells us, "Post Bigg Boss, Shweta wanted to do a big film. It should be released and publicised well. When she got an offer from the director CK, she loved her role, especially the fact that she would get a song where she could show her dancing ability." An elated Shweta said, "I am not just doing an item number in this movie but also playing one of the leading ladies. There is a sequence where I have to dance. To top it all, the song is fabulous." The film stars Aftab Shivdasani and Nisha Kothari along with 12 top comedians. Meahwhile' Shweta Tiwari in a still from her sizzling dance number In happier times now, the actress has also patched up with her Mr Bajaj aka Ronit Roy. Fresh from the spate of awards that Roy won for his marvellous performance in Udaan and Tiwari in Bigg Boss 4, the two have reconciled and shot for a suspense thriller on TV. While one thought that the two would never work together again after the animosity they shared during the shoot of Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Roy and Tiwari recently shot for Adaalat. A source says, "When the channel approached Tiwari, one felt that she would say an 'No'. But surprisingly, she immediately agreed." Adds the source, "Roy and Tiwari were also very comfortable with each other during the shoot."

Ronit Roy & Shweta Tiwari To Share Screen After Three Years

One of the most popular couples of Indian Television, Prerna aka Shweta Tiwari and Mr Bajaj aka Ronit Roy will be seen together on small screen once again after a long gap of three years in one of the episodes of Sony Entertainment Television's show 'Adalat'. The story is about a couple wherein the husband gets trapped in a murder case. Shweta Tiwari essays the role of the diligent wife Revathi who faces the uphill battle when her husband is accused in the murder. Ronit who plays, an unconventional lawyer, KD Pathak will come across Revathi when he enters the picture as the couple's savior.

Tune in to Sony Entertainment Television on Saturday, 16th April at 8:00 pm to witness Revathi's struggle to prove the innocence of her husband as the quick witted KD comes to their rescue. All this and much more only on Adalat!!!
