Loved ones never die. Memories about them always remain with us giving us the feeling that they are still with us.We keep relating them to the things that happen around us. The character Prem may not be alive today but our memories about him remains fresh.When we look back we have cired ,laughed shared our joy with Prem.When he cried even we cried .when he was happy even we were happy.This shows how attached we were to Prem.Prem has made a huge impact on us.
I missed first few episodes due to my exams.The very first episode of kis desh I watched had Prem in it.Something about him made me watch the show.I went on to watch the episodes I missed.The show seemed to be interesting.
I have a vivid picture of Prem's entry in the show. With him flexing his muscles ....ok...the way he played for his country. Their we got to see the patriotic feeling him.It was just the beginning .Prem was finding his way into our hearts.Then we were given a small insight into how Prem is by gayatri .His convo with lalit showed us how much he respects his bauji and trusts in him.The way he spoke to Preet near the pool about the girl bauji had chosen for him gave us a glimpse of Prem as a lover.The phone convo He had with heer somehow established a connection between them and later on we see the effect on prem when he dance at the disco.
Junejas return to India.Our hopes of Premeer meeting starts and so does the eternal love story of Prem-Heer . Prem feels the pain through which Heer is going.In the station we see the protective Prem.Then later on he is disappointed thinkingabout the fact that Heer is no more.All the while we see Prem expressing his feelings or better say consoling himself with his mandalin. He played it when he was depressed. Which used to make me go mad.
Prem and gayatri scenes always showed an understanding between them and the strong mother son bonding.
Prem feels heer's pain again in shiv mandir.Then during sagaai.All the while excellent expressions and acting.Then the way he corrects himself for kicking heer out .Prem starts imagining heer everywhere.and there were many more things in store for us.....
By this time Prem had invaded into my heart without my permission....no complaints about that. Prem was impressive in what ever he did whether it be being a perfect son or brother or a perfect lover..... The memories of him will always remain with me....
