Any bks dat suprised u recently?

There are books which we read which are preditcatably good for example harry potter for most of us.. Wen we pick up the new edition, we know it will be good.. However some good bks come as a suprise.. U just read it just like dat and suprisingly it happens to be really good and leave an impact on ur mind..

So which book has suprised u recently in a good or bad way?

'Parineeta' surprised me in a real good way. I read it after watching the movie and it was simply zabardast. I mean, I was expecting something good but this simply was great and as usual, the book was far better than the movie and I was surprised how many things they had changed in the movie. At that time I wished I could read Hindi so I could have read it in the original language as I had to read the English version. I feel books are best in their original language cuz that's the words coming directly from the author. Nothing can beat that... but even the English translation of that book was classy... so thumbs up for that book!

I'm in Germany and they shipped it from England for me. I ordered it in the bookstore here. The cover has Saif, Sanjay Dutt and Vidya Balan on it. This version was prolly published after the movie.
