I had a preconception that it wud be another boring buk abt attainment of spiritual understanding n all, But it turned out to be absolutely worth reading..Brilliant work. It was indeed hailed a masterpiece but my calculations were thrown out of the window when I read it! 😆 😳

Oh my God, people... I just read "Mistress of Spices" by Chitra Bannerjee and it surprised me... and IN A REAL BAD WAY!!! The book is so dead boring, you feel like burning every single page of it seperately and enjoy watching this happen. I had to read it for uni and GOSH! Only I know how I mastered every single page of it.
