I agree... I've read some of the classic comics (1963... starting ones upto like issue 30 or so)... then some annuals here and there. Other than that, I generally pick something randomly after catching an interesting panel on the internet.
I recently read the 5 issues special of Spider-man/Human Torch which I would definitely recommend if you like both of them. Additionally, it's a short series so you won't have to spare too much time.
Currently, I'm reading Fantastic Four and FF - Hickman's run... where Spider-man joins the FF team... but if you're looking for Spidey content exclusively, I wouldn't really recommend this one... as his role is very reduced with the main focus being on the Fantastic four family (especially the kids).
That being said, I've heard wonderful stuff about the Ultimate Spider-man run (except the ending I guess), so I'm planning to give it a try next. Lemme know if you wanna read along too... would be fun
