I also like X-Men very much! I know a lot of people think about the relationship of Professor X and Magneto from a romantic angle.

Actually, I never read the comics. I only watched the movies. When I watched, I never felt that way. I would say it was like brotherly chemistry or chemistry of best friends.

Exactly! I love both those characters with Spidey, their equation is def interesting to see but I just don't see anything shippable there 😅

Which comics are those? I always love Hulk-Spidey interactions I think they're kinda adorable together I feel like Spidey is one of the only heroes who knows how to handle hulk

We def should have an MCU or a comics forum. I have other sites to discuss other fandoms, but I'd like to be able to discuss MCU stuff with IF folks here

(Although tbh I haven't been watching any mcu after phase 3... Just wandavision, loki, and the Spidey movies. I'll probably watch the Hawkeye show at some point, but nothing else has felt watch-worthy 😐)

@Red Ah yes! I've so many tags exluded but for some reason, have never thought of using it for MCD I check that manually though... and very rarely get into those (unfortunately, a couple of stories I'm already invested in added the MCD tag later... and now I don't want to give them up midway but also dread what's going to happen in the coming updates 🙈).

@Blue Sorry, I mean to add the fic to my page count in excel... will do so by tomorrow pakka

@Pink Hmm... should we request for a public forum for MCU / Marvel? Or perhaps make a Private forum ourselves with open invitation for all members...?

@Purple The most recent release Thunderbolts* was really good (after a long time perhaps). Captain America : Brave New World was okay for a theatrical viewing but I'm not sure how much I would enjoy it if I watched it on a small screen... that is say.. the effects were better than the plot. Deadpool and Wolverine (if we count it as MCU now) was a riot (as expected )... but probably not rewatch worthy. Still, if you haven't seen it, I would suggest watching once... especially since you like X-man too. Hmmm.. can't remember what were the other movies in this phase but yeah... I catch almost all the MCU stuff as soon as it releases (except the Daredevil series which I haven't watched yet) so if you want reviews... hmu

(Source - Spider-man The Other: Evolve or Die Part 4/12. Tbf, Iron-man had already released a lot of sleeping gas in the air, so it was probably more of a combined effort of that and the sheer ridiculous of Spidey trying to tell Hulk a Knock-knock joke )

Oh. I've only watched the animated stuff and read comics. I've never watched any of the X-Men movies so idk anything about them 😅

Before MCU, I was far more acquainted with the DC superheros. Of course, Spidey has always been my fav since childhood... but Batman was a really close second. The Dark Knight trilogy is still peak Batman for me and I love rewatching it from time to time. I probably own a comic or two as well...

I don't like Superman much (overpowered - makes fights uninteresting) but the rest of Justice League (OG) was . I have watched quite some movies from the DCEU too... Wonder woman first part was good... and I liked both Aquaman movies too (especially since the underwater scenes are really good when watching in 3D).. but the rest... the less said the better I'm hoping for better movies after the reboot 🤞🏼

About X-man... I've watched all the movies but honestly... the plots are so haphazard.. they barely make sense . The timeline is completely screwed up... the only worthy thing from those movies were the characters and their interactions. I've never read any comics so won't comment on those... but I'm waiting to see if the MCU will do them better

God, I hate when fics give shocks like that midway 😣 It's even worse if they're actually good fics, coz then like you said you can't leave them and neither can you continue like before... They get you stuck in this horrible limbo until they finally end it's part of the reason why I almost always stick to completed fics now. I know exactly what I'm signing up for. One time, I was reading this love triangle for a ship and they switched the ship midway. Can you believe it 😒

Yeah, I've been seeing a lot of positive feedback for the recent one. I'd pretty much given up on the current mcu (I didn't even know about this new movie release), so it's a pleasant suprise I'm yet to watch D&W but I know I'll enjoy it when I do. Then again, you'd have to try really hard to make a DP movie suck
