Playing for Pizza-By John Grisham-🥱🥱🥱Too many boring details about football & Italian Food;No plot or substance whatsoever🤢 Really, while certain Grisham books are worth reading like "The Rain Maker","The Client" & "The Brethren" some of his other books like "The Firm" & "The Broker" either lack substance or just follow the same pattern as his earlier books.👎🏼
After the Funeral-Agatha Christie🥱;She too repeated the same storylines in some of her books. For instance she brought in the trick of either the murderer or the victim impersonating some other person way too many times in her books & as a result the ending of many of her murder mysteries were often predictable.👎🏼

i agree....nicholas sparks' book alawayz have a tragic ending...a total waste of time!

Twilight: I read it because of all the hype surrounding it and couldn't even finish it. Too much description of Edward, and not enough plot line

'Mercy' by Jodi Picoult
It was just boring, especially after reading 'My sister's keeper' and some of her other excellent books
i agree The Notebook was boring.
Also Four Blind Mice by james patterson, i found that almost painful to read through, i don't know how i finished..... took me months!

Omg! okay, i am a bit biased towards anything remotely twilight, but it is a great book, atleast i loved it. i read it after i heard a lot about it, but way before i watched the movie. i guess if you not into the whole high school, almost obsessive romance, i guess it won't be your thing...

1. Didn't understand too much.

2. Had to read it for class.

3. Not my type of genre.

OH MY GOSH...NOOOO...lol.
That book sucks at first sight but it's SOOOOOO good. Try to give it another chance if possible. Once you get past the nature imagery, there are a LOT of interesting things you'll notice. Give it another chance.
Good luck!😳

I haven't read Four Blind Mice but try "The Quickie" by James Patterson...it keeps you hooked! 😊
And I think I'm the only person on this thread who like The Notebook. and I LOVED "A Walk to Remember"...I cry everytime I read those books. SO amazing! <3

I TOTALLY agree 101%!.....I was like What is this?....so random and seriously not my genre of reading!🤢
Something terribly boring i read was Emma...oh gawd...that book was seriously a pain coz firstly the english was so ancient that even the english wouldnt understand it! The story was weird as it is with girl falling fr guy 80x her age (exaggeratiion..lolz😆) and poking her nose left right centre!!!
Something really dumb i read was "The Devil Wears Prada".....what crap was that! I absolutely loathed the ending....🤢🤢🤢....It seemed like a complaint fest rather than a novel!
Oh gawd and ive read Q&A recently (book tht Slumdog was based on)....Wayyyy too many R rated things....i was like h god they need to put an MA15+ tag on this! Really really not what i enjoy reading...🤢
