most borring book for me would be Scott O'Dell's The Black Pearl
why?
i suppose it was simply because it was not the right type of story for me...i like novels better when the protagonist is a woman, and this novel didnt even have a girl in it...let alone an admirable heroine. the protagonist was definetly not worth reading about and the story was moving at a very slow pace...and there was no point in doing so simply because there was no suspence to build...the ending was quite obvious from the beginning. and...there was no humour, romance, suspence, or any of these qualities I look for in a book in this novel. So, as you can see, i found this book to be outrageously borring for a number of reasons. the only thing that caught my attention..which to was for only 1 second was when my last name appeared in it 😆
(i didn't mean to offend anyone who disagrees with me by writing a lot.. 😳..this is just my personal opinion 😳 )

Alchemist... It is so overhyped without much reason... I didnt find it much interesting... For quite some part of the book, it was just repeating the same points... It has no story as such - it just doesnt get anywhere...

The other is First Among Equals - I read about 40 pages but then stopped as it was just throwing so many characters one after another...

I agree!!! This was quite some time ago and I remember trying real hard to finish it! I succeeded in finishing it but it was really boring!

I loved anne frank and liked CD too and loved Jane Eyre too; though i can understand why ppl find it boring 😳

And LOTR is one of my all time fav books!!! Just goes on to show choice in books can be so varied amongst ppl!!!😊
