Salman gives back
Khan has returned a part of his fees to his producer
Salman Khan, who features in producer Paramjeet Singh's London Dreams, has returned Rs 1 crore,a part of his fees, because he wants to ensure that the film goes on floors as soon as possible.
Slashed!
A source reveals, "Salman has been extremely cooperative and is making sure nothing comes in the way of the film's progress."
London Dreams was originally supposed to be directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, and is now being directed by Vipul Shah. Salman, who charges close to Rs 20 crore for a film, not only slashed his price for LD but also returned part of his fees.
They're supportive
Initially, Santoshi wanted Shah Rukh and Aamir for the project and had planned it as a musical. When Vipul Shah took over, he cast Salman and Ajay." The film will go on floors in July.
Paramjeet Singh says, "Salman Khan has a heart of gold. I wouldn't like to comment on him slashing his price. He deserves every single penny he gets."
Vipul Shah adds, "I don't know what Salman and Ajay have charged but both actors have been extremely supportive. They are going out of their way to help in every possible way."
As scheduled
The first schedule of London Dreams will begin in Mumbai followed by another one from August to September in London. Vipul is upset at certain reports claiming that the schedule is clashing with Anil Sharma's Veer. "It's rubbish! I am beginning the shoot June-end and we both (Veer and LD) are on schedule. There is no clash or problem whatsoever. The dates were given to me three months back and we start as scheduled."
