Long Outdoor Schedules - Abhishek Bachchan

Some people have it lucky and some don't. Well Abhishek Bachchan has always pulled the short straw when it comes to shooting for his films. What started off with Refugee, his first film, appears to be something of a tradition for Bachchan Junior. A long and tedious shooting spell in Rajasthan for Refugee to his current film, Dostana, which is being shot in Miami, the actor has had to be away from the luxurious comforts of his home.

While he was in the United States of America for almost three months for Karan Johar's Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna, this time round for the same film maker, AB has been in Miami since the last week of March and will be returning only on the 23rd of May.

When asked, AB only replied, "Ya, all my films have had long outdoor schedules". Lets take a look at his last few films. Drona was shot in excruciating extremes in Rajasthan, Umrao Jaan was also shot in Rajasthan in the dead of winter, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom in London... Dus in Canada...the list is quite long.

And the irony is that Abhishek has his own make up van built like the interiors of a jetplane, all custom made to suit the actor's luxurious needs. Well, well, well...
