Supper skinny Size 0 craze!!!

It has been some time now that Bollywood celebreties have been following the supper skinny - size 0 trend that is occuring in Hollywood. I find very alarming for the youth who most of the time apes their idols, and condemn even more directors like Aditya Chopra or Madhur Bhandarkar encouraging the actresses to lose weight more than necessary to be able to don a bikini.

HOWEVER SOMETIMES OVERDOING WITH CRASH DIETS CAN LEAD TO HEALTH HAZARDS

Some time back,size zero models might have been banned from the catwalks. Any model with a BMI of less than 18 has been banned from the catwalks in Madrid and organisers of London Fashion Week were asked to implement the same rules. However,there were still size zero models on the catwalk and no sign that the super-skinny craze will end any time, as most of the famous model would otherwise not walk the ramp. This measures and revival of discussions of size 0 arose after a series of tragic incidents, one of which is a catwalk girl Eliana Ramos, 18, died of anorexia six months after her model sister had a heart attack during a fashion show having starved herself to death leading to heart failure.

agree with all off yuusz! ppl tht skipp meals juss to be skinny.. need to get sumf sense in tehre selves! they're juss puttin there selves in a better chance to get diseases like anorexia 🤢

Personally i don't think their is an actual size 0 craze in bollywood, and none of the actresses are anorexic or have lost weight for personal reasons (they claim it to be for a role).

Kangana has always been thin, she has a very boy-ish figure and she is certainly not anorexic!

Kareena has stated many times that she initially lost the weight for her role in Tashan, how true this is? im sure we will find out in the coming months. However, her weight does seem to fluctuate alot.....if you look at her photo's from the past few months, at times she looks skinny, and on other occasions slim and toned.

Bipasha looked great in Dhoom 2. She is naturally curvy (some even say big-boned) and once again no where near a size 0 or being an anorexic......the same goes for Esha and Deepika.

Aishwarya did look very skinny in Dhoom 2 but this is something that she has not kept with. If you look at her recent pics she looks very healthy.

I don't think there are any Size 0 actors in our industry. People are getting confused between skinny and size 0. It is true that some directors like Aditya Chopra insists on their female actors to lose weight in order to tone the body for action flicks which in my opinion is unnecessary because you can have perfectly toned body and still be healthy like Esha Deol in Dhoom. Ash and to some extend Bipasha (her hands were too thin) looked skinnier but they regained their healthy self after the films so I guess it is fine. Kangana on the other hand is naturally skinny. Some with good metabolism are naturally thin. But none of them are anorexics. Anorexia and being skinny are two different things.

I have couple of Chinese friends who are Size 0 and Size 00 but none are skinny. They are naturally like that and healthy too. On the other hand us Indians are not made like that. We can never be Size 0 unless we starve us to death.

Whether it is being super skinny or extra large as a result of binge eating, both are unhealthy. Proper intake of food and regular exercise is the healthiest way.

These actresses are not size '0' they look like size 2 to 4 to me.
