Something brewing between Amrita Rao and the 'Jal' rocker?


Perhaps time has come to strike off another name from the list of Bollywood's single actresses.

That Amrita Rao is doing a commercial with Pak band 'Jal' and also featuring in a music video by the band is an old dope. The latest is that the professional proximity has sparked love between Amrita and guitarist Goher Mumtaz of 'Jal'.

Glimpses of the chemistry between the two were visible while Amrita shot an ice cream commercial with the band. Even the music video 'Love Sparks Chalte Chalte' that Amrita and Goher shot have resonances from their life.

Guess what, the video has Goher playing an upcoming rocker and Amrita playing an aspiring actress. They have feelings for each other but they drift apart, only to meet later when both have achieved success. It is then their love rekindles. How coincidental!

While shooting the song in Mumbai, Amrita and Goher became thick friends. They discussed everything from music, films to politics.

Goher has denied that he and Amrita are a couple, but he did admit they are "good friends" who stay in touch. Goher meets her whenever he is in India and now he is trying to convince her to go to Pakistan for a few of 'Jal' performances.

Amrita choruses Goher's view and says they are just good friends. However, she does admit being in love with the 'Jal' music, particularly the song "Chalte Chalte" which, she says, she listens the first thing every morning.
