Dutta walks out of the Bachchan family world tour
The Unforgettables, the world tour of the Bachchans (Amitabh, Abhishek, Aishwarya) has run into trouble again — Lara Dutta has opted out citing date problems. Earlier, Akshay Kumar had walked out due to a fee hike.
The tour was unveiled last year at Yorkshire during IIFA. Besides the Bachchans, it included Bipasha Basu, Riteish Deshmukh and Lara Dutta. It was supposed to roll in mid-2008.
Says a source, "When the organisers (Wizcraft) got in touch with Lara last week, she said she couldn't be a part of the tour as she is busy shooting for Ashtavinayak's Blue with Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar."
Replacement therapy
The source further adds, "Wizcraft is clueless about what to do. Everything including the script and concept was ready. Now with Lara opting out they are in a fix and trying to find an appropriate replacement soon."
When asked about the tour, Lara says, "I am busy shooting, could you get in touch later."
When asked if she is still a part The Unforgettables, the actress preferred not to reply.
