Jr B surprises Big B
Abhishek Bachchan, who has been busy shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Dilli 6 in Rajasthan, flew down to Mumbai just to surprise dad Amitabh on the sets of Shoebite.
A paper reported that AB junior was missing his father who he hadn't seen for a long time thanks to the hectic schedules of Dilli 6. So, the moment he managed to get a break for a day, he rushed to Mumbai to visit his dad.
Ram Mirchandani of UTV confirmed the story. "All of us were pleasantly surprised when Abhishek walked into the sets to meet his dad. He came down all the way from Rajasthan just to see his dad."
Added Mirchandani, "Father and son had lunch together and spent a couple of hours with each other. Normally we shoot outdoors, but for a change we had an indoor shoot in Mumbai."
Shoojit Sircar, director of Shoebite, said, "Abhishek and I have done many ad films together and share a good rapport. I was busy with my cameraman setting the lights for the next scene when he casually walked into the sets and headed towards his father. All my assistants were pretty excited to see Abhishek. After lunch with Amitabh, he went around chatting with everyone on the sets."
