since the author didnt find anyone worth being labelled the woman of the year, s/he wrote abt one of the most hyped woman of this year (mostly because of her marriage than anything else)

also if people are so concerned about social causes look at websites related to such topics, I am sure they will talk about women of the year related to THEM..

also you can be a role model without spending all your waking day and night looking after someone suffering from leprosy or visit land mines and buy every single victim a prosthetic leg.. there is a lesson and inspiration you can draw from any woman..

One thing i like about her is that she never passing catty remarks. her interview are alwaz clean and simple answers 👏 and many a times her diginity she maintain in talking is termed as diplomacy or 'being politically correct' 😡

Yes.. Well that i agree she is, .. Bt being Diplomatic is not a negative quality ...
Knowing when to keep your mouth shut is a skill very few posses..

Mallika isnt just catty, she is outright brash.. Whereas Kareena "used" to be catty . Priety was totally frank... And even Rani belongs to the "diplomatic" group..

So Aish isnt the only one...

And i respect Aish for Balancing various sectors of her life very well...
Bt she doesnt deserve to be the woman of ther year.. However she surely is the "most talked about " woman of the year, closely followed by Deepika Padukone 😆

Woman of the year!!! You must be kidding me!!! If being the most beautiful, diplomatic, balancing personal with professional life is the criteria Then I'd agree Ash wins, but if the criteria is to who ACTUALLY does stuff for women, Ash loses, hands down. Infact anybody from Bollywood loses.

Do they even have an idea of how much woman do?? Its not about balancing personal and professional life, Many woman spend day in and day out on the streets, risking their life for the betterment of other people. Ask Jaswinder Kaur, she defied the norm and opened a chairty to stop domestic voilence and forced marriages for woman. Or how about those women who go to Darfur, witness destruction and literally put their life on line and work there, just to give medical help to the unfortunate few... or those woman from the human rights group who literally do not take any rest just, to ensure equality for women.

Ofcourse its on a movie website, but they didn't say "Bollywood personality of the year" they said "Woman of the year" Thats NOT confined to Bollywood alone. After making such a broad statement, obviously people will criticize the credibility of it. I'm sure if Kareena were the woman of the year, people would've bashed her left, right and centre.
