Yehi hai write choice, baby!

Bollywood's highest paid actress and Bachchan bahu, Aishwarya Rai is all set to write her autobiography. Her mother Vrinda Rai, who is a writer, will help the actress in documenting her life, indicate sources.

A reliable source close to the actress informs, "Unlike most Bollywood actors, she will be penning her own autobiography. She intends to throw light on major events from her personal and professional life."

It all started when the 34-year-old former Miss World faced a deluge of calls from leading publishing houses that are keen to document her life from the time she started modelling as a hobby while still a student of architecture, to her recent marriage in Bollywood's most famous family. However, the actress doesn't believe in commissioning writers for a biography as it becomes an "impersonal exercise".

Aishwarya's spokesperson, Hari Singh says: "Yes, quite a few authors and publishing houses have expressed their desire to work on her biography. Aishwarya is definitely not interested in commissioning her biography to anyone. She wants to pen it herself. I doubt if she is already working on her autobiography, although she is known to make personal notes of various events in her life."

We will have to wait and watch when Ash gets down to writing her biography, as she currently looks quite busy playing the doting wife to Abhishek Bachchan.
