According to Darsheel, he deserves to be awarded with the Best Actor title as he was the hero of TZP and he pulled off the entire movie.

Best Actor in Child Category is usually awarded to kids doing cameos and Darsheel feels that this award is not a true depiction of his performance.

Shahrukh Khan was awarded the Best Actor by Screen for his 'Om Shanti Om' which was the biggest hit of 2007. Darsheel's performance in 'Taare Zameen Par' has won him a lot of accolades and in fact, many feel that he should have been picked for the Best Actor award as he was truly the 'Hero', who got 'Zameen Par Taare'.
