i was just wondering why did sridevi not recieve a padmashri ?

look she acted in all the south indian languages and not just acted she was the no.1.

she was no.1 in bollywood too.she is a better actress then madhuri for sure.

i can't think of one great madhuri movie. She mostly starred in all those lame 90's movies with horrible plot, acting, storyline eh Raja, Dil etc etc

Wow! Well i guess its a matter of opinion.. U didnt like Saajan,devdas or dil tu pagal hai?They are classics! Madhuri is the best!

Simple because Sridevi wasn't nominated. Our Padma awards have no value. Looks at Bharat Ratna controversy. Padma awards too depend on people whom they know. Sridevi needs good PR to get this award.
