With a body to kill and face to die for, Hrithik Roshan is as handsome as its gets. His dazzling presence, however, hasn't prevented the Dhoom 2 star from signing roles that allow him to experiment radically with his looks and styling.

Take his upcoming Jodhaa Akbar for example -- a grand historic spectacle co-starring Aishwarya Rai.

For Ashutosh Gowarikar's long-anticipated and lavish romance, Roshan Jr looks every bit of royalty sporting a longish mane, regal moustache, elaborate costumes and tons of jewellery or armor.

Plus the guy turns 34 today, just the time, we thought, to take a look at the Dhoom 2 star's transformation from dude to Emperor.

Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai

Keeping in mind, his double role status in the film, Hrithik made an extra effort to distinguish between the boy-next-door Rohit and uber cool Raj.

While he stuck to checked or plain shirts in folded sleeves, classic denims, long locks, half-shaven appearance in the first half, post-interval, we saw Duggu in a new light -- gelled hair, smooth shave, slight tan, trendy glasses and sporty round collar jackets.

Mission Kashmir

Even in the role of a misled youngster in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Mission Kashmir, Hrithik provided plenty of eye-candy. Deep shades pathan suits or delicately embroidered vibrant kurtas looked becoming on the light-eyed hero.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

After starring in half a dozen Mills & Boons brand of mush flicks, Hrithik's by-now-routine wardrobe was crying for a revamp.

Enter Karan Johar's kerchief caper. Here, Hrithik's ultra hip clothing comprised of asymmetrical cut pullovers, trendy casuals, sleeveless tees (which gave ample view of those shapely biceps) and form-fitting dinner jackets. And you thought, K3G was all about loving your parents and Poo's pooh paah!

Just like his character in Lakshya, Hrithik's look in the film does a 360 degree turn. His metamorphosis from a good-for-nothing with a messy hairstyle and cool cargos to a man with a mission in army uniform and no-nonsense crew cut is most engaging.

Koi...Mi Gaya fetched the actor every possible award in the country. And for good reason. Hrithik's heart-warming act in this desi version of E.T. established a connection with kids and adults alike.

To make his school-uniform clad character of a child-in-a-man's-body more effective, Hrithik sports a neatly combed, oiled hair look, unattractive spectacles.

i loved his look in Dhoom 2, as the real Aryan..
