I feel really bad for Madhuri. I'm mean she worked so hard on this movie she did so much travelling back and forth. And left her kids and husband to come and shoot and promote the movie. And the response that she was getting from the public was OUTSTANDING.

But now the outcome of the movie has been devastating. The movie has bascially bombed at the box office in India, U.S, U.K. and Australia. And I know Madhuri was really expecting the movie to do really good.

I watched the movie and personally loved the movie. I mean it was really light-hearted, fun movie that could easily be enjoyed by the whole family.

Why didn't the public accept it?? 😕

^^^ I actually agree with you. Public doesn't wanna watch good movies. Cuz personally "OSO" was a realluy pathetic movie but it turned out a hit. Saawariya had a rocking storyline but it bombed.

This movie had everything going for it. Great cast, great music, great story. The audience really is hypocrits.

the promos itself were looking weak...nothing eye catchy ....that may have caused the initial dent 😊

I think the competition is tough now, movies like oso, sawarriya, jab we met and so on......nowadays movies are loud, or really action based.

Well the promos weren't that exciting but I watched it anyway b/c its Madhuri. Perhaps had it been a more common storyline with a stronger love angle for Madhuri. But frankly at this point in her career she can probably care less if the movie bombs or not. All she wants now is creative satisfaction which she got as Aaja Nachle is very different from the types of movies she has done in the past.

The movie had great reviews and the first day was actually a good turn-out according to reports. I guess it was only because of Madhuri Dixit.

As we discussed before the release I think not-so promising promos, boring songs, full story on rediff.com which was similar to goal/lagaan/chak de and non-appealing co-stars. No good male lead. All this together is to be blamed for the flop verdict. Many Madhuri lovers didn't warm upto her either.
