He did KANK and played a frustrated man. How many times has he done that before? As for OSO, I havent yet watched the movie but that guy changed his entire physique for the movie, changed his looks and is playing the role of an actor. How many times has he done that before?

CDI was only 1 film. His role in KANK was another aspect of the character constantly played throughout his films.

As for negative roles, no i wouldn't say that he's trying to repeat his success of Baazigar and Darr because their are many shades of grey to play which he hasn't attempted to play yet.

If you read my first post you will see that i was asking what roles everyone would like him to focus on, so theres no need to attack me for my views.

There are many shades of romance, comedy, action, etc too. I dont think KANK was just another film neither were Don, Swades, Mohabbatein, Veer Zaara, etc.

Also, I am not attacking your views. I didnt even mention you in my post. I was talking about people in general who attack SRK for any reason at all.

yeah true^^ i agree with u but i think its nah his role i feel dat these ladies are getting tired of watching him everywhere, and the comments he has been speaking out towards the media about sawariya which was kinda bad n he shouldnt have said all that it was proper of him i feel that everyone jus stopped respecting him the way they use to yeah sure hes dun many roles i mean seriously if u look at it srks always got those happy natured looking characters that neevr get angery always smiling n wht not n where so use to it hes jus to simple i feel there are many more talented people out there like AMIR KHAN who is alot better then srk far better! nah even in the same sentence kinda better then srk he never repeats his roles which i like about him n hes not everywhere he does his thing n stays low key n comes out again with a BANG which is kinda kool he makes his job look so easy n when u see people like srk on everythign n every interview u jus get so sick of it all 😕

To all the people who have expressed their views on how they think SRK is getting boring and should retire; are you expressing these views because om shanti om received better reviews from critiques than saawariya did??? Because honestly SRK does not have any control on what the critiques write or say about his films; and as far as him being arrogant it shouldn't matter because every celebrity to some degree is entitled to be arrogant since they are always in the limelight and their privacy is intruded every single day whether they want it or don't and as far as I remember from all the interviews and biographies I've read and seen to make him seem arrogant compared to the Bachchans.
p.s. i apologize if anyone finds my opinion offensive; just an opinion

whatever srk does he does the best if u r bored and disoopinted with him then don't bother to watch his movies cuz he has billions of fans who would go and watch his movies people alwayz say that he does the same kind a role tell me one thing have u seen an actor who does the same roles but potrays them differntly srk is the only actor who can do one role in varity of ways. i love srk work and if there is no srk then there is no bollywood that is why he is called the king of bollywood. and about ladies being tired of seeing him everwhere let me just say if srk make 3 hours movie and in that movie he does nothing but stand till we would still go and watch it. 😳

The likes of Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan have all tried different types of formula which has worked for them. But SRK just stayed with being a romeo -- romancing different juliets. Because he has done so many films with Rani & Preity they have become less interesting to watch... Hence he went out for new faces - but its still the same story....

SRK is a good actor - we all know this -- but doesn't let himself go.. The only time I saw a character was in Swades and not SRK... So if he is capable, why doesn't he step up to the tesk and do something about it-- otherwise please stop making films that are an embarrassment to your craft!

I want to point out that before SRK retires, Amitabh Bachan should retire. He is 20 years older than SRK. Next I want to say that its okay that u r tired of him but that doesnt mean u can say that he should stop making movies. If you dont like him dont watch him. Simple as that. I on the other hand am a devoted and very happy SRK fan. They call him the "King Khan" bcuz he has doesnt waaaay more amazing movies than the other Khans. No offense.

srk movies rocks and so is srk,
but he should give up smoking as its not good for his health..... and he looks cute hot in short hairs 😊

srk magic is evrywhere,if he retires,
it will be a loss to bollywood 😊

SRK should be doing roles which suit his age and aging visage!!..And with actresses who look compatible with him,not with 20 year old supermodels who look more like his sister!!

Tabu,Karisma Kapoor,Vidya Balan,SHilpa Shetty,Ameesha Patel and the magnificent Kajol...They'd make a better onscreen pair with SRK!!...

i absolutley adore srk i think he is a superb actor and the comment that he makes the same movies all the time well he does that because thats what the audience loves and i dont think he needs to retire he is doing an amazing job and is awesome at what he is doing!!!! I am excited to see wat other movies he has instore for us this year
