Bored and disappointed with SRK

Is anyone else bored and disappointed with SRK.......i loved him in his younger days with Darr, DDLJ, Yes Boss, DTPH, KKHH etc but now he just seems to be doing the same role with different variations constantly.

I wish he would go back to his darker character side like in Darr, Bazzigar etc.....i know he had a dark side in don, but that was still a remake.

What roles do you think he needs to focus on now?

I really feel that he needs to retire... I still can't understand - for the life of me - why he is called the "King Khan" when he does the same kind of cinema... he never branched out like his counterpartners have. Take for instance Akshay Kumar - he was known as the Khiladi Kumar later he changed his image and turned to Comedy -- again very successful..

The likes of Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan have all tried different types of formula which has worked for them. But SRK just stayed with being a romeo -- romancing different juliets. Because he has done so many films with Rani & Preity they have become less interesting to watch... Hence he went out for new faces - but its still the same story....

SRK is a good actor - we all know this -- but doesn't let himself go.. The only time I saw a character was in Swades and not SRK... So if he is capable, why doesn't he step up to the tesk and do something about it-- otherwise please stop making films that are an embarrassment to your craft!

He is very over rated. He insults people in public. He should have not insulted Amar Singh in front of so many people. I heard he has insulted Manoj Kumar in his OSO.
I have not seen the movie yet. I think , he does not have the body, looks or the manners to be called "King Khan".

Well i think SRK rocks ask anyone whos movies theyll deffo go to watch in theatres and theyll say
"yaar shahrukh hai toh movie dekhni vali hogii"
if you watch his interviews he SPECIFICALLY says his movies are for the janta, if people feel like they got their moneys worth , then hes happy

I don't agree with you...I can never get enough of SRK 😃 But, if you dislike him so much or are bored of him, why do you watch his movies? I usually avoid movies of actors/actresses I don't like 😳

No way thats one guy I cant get bored of . I love all his movies and I can keep on watching them again n again and not get tired of them . SRK is truly superb not only a good actor but a good human being. Also a very loving husband and devoted father. 😳

Well u never know maybe he will do a darker character in the fututre. I hope hes the bad guy in Dhoom 3 cuz they r hot and he would so fit the role esp with the 6 pack now .

Well I am not tired of him and i never wll...I love his acting...he's super...people love his that's why he's called King khan/King of Bollywood...for me he's the king of Universae

I never said that i dislike him or his movies, some of his films are my all time favourites but they are only the ones that he did over 10 years ago.

I just think it would be nice to see him portraying a new character on screen rather than his mushy roles seen in recent films.
