Bored and disappointed with SRK - Page 4

for me I'm 2 sided on this thing
I do agree that SRK is doing the same type of roles and is a bit overrated....but he does try to do them a bit differently...which I think is a unique thing in him.. 😳 👏 ....I mean I really dont like his attitude sometimes..but then he becomes all sweet and nice 😳

I'm not just saying this because of I'm a fan. But SRK made me cry on he's movies. I cried so much when I watch Anjaam when he played villain which is different role for those of you who says he does same roles for all times. I cried so much on Veer-Zaara and I cried more on he's other movies, no actor can make me cry like srk can 😭 😭 😭

I never said that i dislike him or his movies, some of his films are my all time favourites but they are only the ones that he did over 10 years ago.

I just think it would be nice to see him portraying a new character on screen rather than his mushy roles seen in recent films.

Let's see...SRK has done different roles in - Chak De India, Don, Paheli, Swades, Main hoon na, Baadshah, One 2 ka 4 etc.. Most of these movies were good and different, but not blockbusters. But movies in which he has played romantic characters are - DDLJ, Dil to Pagal hai, Kuch kuch hota hai, K3G, Kal ho na ho, Kabhi alvida na kehna etc..- all of them were super duper hits!!!

Now, going by this track record I have to say that when it's the public that likes to see SRK in such roles, why would he not do such kind of roles? Coming to Om Shanti Om, I don't think his charcter was mushy at all, and I must say I was disappointed with that😆 I love it when SRK makes goo-goo eyes at the heroine - makes me feel all warm and nice 😆 😉 See, if there are more people like me, SRK will be playing romantic roles for the next 42 years😆

Nice to read your opinion 😊 I think SRK does stuff differently in his own way..you can take some stuff for granted in his movies - no kissing, no vulgarity, which implies family movie! And still appeals to the front benchers too! Plus, SRK has a quirky, witty sense of humor which may come across as arrogant, when he's not....

SRK has given some of the best movies to Indian Cinema,. He gave new height to Overseas market. He has almost done every kind of role and every kind of movie. He is respected worldwide. Still people try to berate him. Thats pathetic. 🤢
As for SRK being arrogant, I think when you try so hard to put someone down, isnt that person supposed to reply??? When he does you think SRK is arrogant. But other actors who are constantly rude to media and public arent arrogant (ex: Amitabh Bachan, Abhishek, Bhansali, etc) Thats the height of hypocrisy.

i m greatest fan of srk but oso is bakawas super bakwas
only deewangi song having 30 stars is worth watching otherwise film is boring n srk's acting is zero

How exactly am i berating SRK? i've said in my earlier posts that i like his films but only his old ones. I am simply raising the point that his recent films are extentions of the same role and it would be nice to see him try something different like going back to his negative roles.

I don't understand why some people here have a problem with people stating their views on an actor and their roles (especially SRK).

Bhavna I completely agree with you, people called his character romantic in Om Shanti Om, and I was like where? He was being totally normal, there were two love songs yes, but they we're like Suraj Hua Maddham type songs! 😳

And honestly, whatever SRK does "Differently" people hate him in it, so why should he try to please that select audience when the majority of us like him in what he does anyways?😳

Ultimately however it is only my opinion, but if you don't like the type of stuff he does now, then simply don't watch it!😛

SRK did Chak De this year. How many times has he done a coach's role?
He did KANK and played a frustrated man. How many times has he done that before? As for OSO, I havent yet watched the movie but that guy changed his entire physique for the movie, changed his looks and is playing the role of an actor. How many times has he done that before?

If he does a negative role, you will say he is trying to repeat the success of Baazigar and Darr.
