Hello all...

'One hit wonder', this phrase does ring a bell...doesn't it?

One hit wonder,is usually an artist known for just one hit.

A Mahesh Bhatt-directed musical love story of that era, Aashiqui, gave Mumbai cinema one of its unlikeliest stars, the unconventional looking, guitar-strumming lover boy Rahul Roy.

But where is this chocolate boy now??

Also included in this list are Bhagyashree with her knock-out performance in Maine Pyar Kiya and Kumar Gaurav with Love Story.The 2 actors above made an impressive debut but failed to hold on to the stardom.

Hrithik Roshan,the current heartthrob of the nation who has every starry-eyed teenage girl to her mother falling head over heels for him...if you would remember, Hrithik started off with the mega blockbuster Kaho Naa Pyar Hai but then later vanished...and was brought back on the map by his father's directorial Koii Mill Gaya.

Also his partner in the movie,Amisha Patel...her future wasnt as bright as Hrithik's and she fell into darkness.

What we ask you here is are these 'one-hit wonders' just a mere co-incidence...is it the luck that favours them here or is it the talent that goes unnoticed and they are lost after their first hit?

He gave many flops but he still holds Bollywood firmly thanks to his father. I think Rahul and Hrithik both have talent. The only reason they have come so far but sometimes talent is not the only thing you need and in Bollywood especially not.

Besides talent, you also need luck on your side. You also need to work really hard. Now I don't know which one of them doesn't work really hard maybe both of them do. And it's just the kismat that is not on their side.

By the way, most of the talent hunt winners are also one-hit wonders. I haven't seen Sandeep Acharaya after winning Indian Idol 2. He wasn't even at the season 3 to announce/give award. That happens all the time. Luck needs to be on your side to get success.
