SEXY LADY ON THE FLOOR: Celina Jaitly

Celina Jaitly is certainly going places — literally! After being voted the sexiest Bollywood actress through a live poll on Zee News, she left last night for a charity ball in LA.

In spite of contenders like Sherlyn Chopra, Koena Mitra and Jiah Khan, Celina fetched more than 40 per cent votes.

Says Celina, "I was like wow! I was in New Zealand shooting for Love Has No Language when some Indians came up to me and congratulated me. 'We hate Mallika!' they said."

On my own

How does it feel? "I am very happy to be known as a sex symbol as it's getting me noticed overseas. I love it!" Celina adds that the nomination is helping her get invited to many events.

"I have been invited for a charity ball in Los Angeles which will be attended by the likes of Mandy Moore and Lindsay Lohan. I am invited in spite of not having a Big Brother win on my resume.

I am only eight films old and it's long due. It's very difficult to survive in B-Town without backing and a godfather and I have had neither."

For the LA charity ball, she will don a red and gold chiffon gown designed by Manish Malhotra. "Red is the colour of the ball and my outfit is stylish and sexy. The ball is to raise funds for Africa and is held every year with top Hollywood actors in attendance."

Who is her dream Hollwyood hero? "It used to be Brad Pitt. Now he has become too domesticated for my liking." Celina has been shooting in NZ for the last couple of months.

"It's a Hollywood film. It's been an amazing experience. The cast and crew have been very sweet. On the sets I was nicknamed Princess Sweet Pea.

The day I left everybody came to see me off at the airport and everyone cried. I play Kiwi Indian Marina Roy who is torn between her conservative Indian and Kiwi culture. I didn't train but picked it up from the people around me."

No time for love

What about her handsome co-star Ben Mitchell? "He's very cooperative. Ben is half- Italian and half-Maori. There was no romance brewing with any millionaire or actor. I was shooting from 6 am to 6 pm in minus 5 degrees temperature.

I spent time with my mom while not shooting. The only thing that was warming me was my quilts. In any case I am not shopping for love, as I am not desperate for it. I have missed my dogs Heiniken and Tea Cup a lot."

good for her...but i think she wears alot of make up..as u can c in da pic..shockin red lipstick 🤢 ...n look at da clevage shez showin..jst too much man..f9 ur voted as da sexiest but still its better not 2 expose too much.
