| Salman Khan is known to contribute to the making of many of his films with his creative ideas. Now, the actor is going a step ahead and is actually co-scripting a film with father Salim Khan. The film will be titled Veer. It seems it's all in the genes for Sallu. His love for painting has been inspired by mother Salma whereas his motivation for writing comes from father Salim, who has written some of the finest Bollywood classics like Sholay, Zanjeer, Trishool, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Amar Akbar Anthony, etc. Salman Khan says, "I am still writing the script, khatam karne mein waqt lagega (It will take a while to finish). But once it is done, I will call you and make you the script doctor, just like Himesh did with Komal Nahata and Taran Adarsh, so that you don't write anything bad about the film. You can also go ahead and print whatever I am saying. On a serious note, it will take a lot of time for us to complete the script." Is papa Salim making a comeback of sorts with Veer? "Where did my father go to make a comeback? As far as scriptwriting is concerned, I go to him whenever I get stuck," he says. Salman further adds, "I think my father does not want to write. Nowadays we make nonsensical films and these films are below my father's intelligence. He will never come down to that level. These days he is writing columns in some newspapers and he is very happy doing that." | ||
