A thumbs-up for the reclusive yet outspoken actress Heeba Shah (Naseeruddin Shah's daughter), who recently appeared on CNN-IBN to discuss why Muslims are caught in the terror web on a special show called A Matter of Faith.

She not only articulated her thoughts on the issue and how she felt religion should be a personal matter, but also took on Pioneer columnist Sandhya Jain when she questioned Heeba's logic.

The quietly confident young woman responded saying, "I think it is people like her (Jain) who are largely to be blamed for the problems that we have."
Now this is what we call putting things into perspective.

A thumbs-down for actress Dia Mirza, for her stint of media bashing at an orientation lecture for media students at K C College recently.

While we love outspoken actresses with a mind of their own, what we don't like is how certain B-Town stars love to take the higher ground when it comes to the media.

The same stars have no qualms when it comes to shamelessly promoting themselves or their films, so why lash out when we report something that is not to their liking?

Why are we not surprised that the actress unsuccessfully tried to side-step the students' questions on why she has publicists to cover her in the media? Tee hee. Silly billie.
