Lara Dutta is struggling? No ways!
If an actress with 6 earners behind her is considered to be struggling to find her feet in the industry, then God save some other so called reigning queens who have not delivered a single hit for ages and are living on item songs.
Lara Dutta is a classic case of media ignorance and short memory of public since in spite of having six back-to-back money-spinners behind her, she is still said to be searching for place under the sun.
Picture this. Her good luck, which started with the release of KAAL [2005] has continued all the way to last year's mega hit BHAGAM BHAG [2006]. In between she has seen 2005's biggest hit NO ENTRY followed by two modest earners in the form of DOSTI-FRIENDS FOREVER and ZINDA.
To add to it, if we also count FANAA (ok, so we are not serious here), where she had a blink-and-you-miss appearance, it makes it six successful films in a row for Lara.
With two major releases coming her way in next few weeks, JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM and PARTNER, it seems quite positive that Lara would be carrying on her winning streak. And why not? After all the two films are directed by Shaad Ali and David Dhawan respectively who hardly need any introduction.
Do we still hear someone saying that Lara us struggling at the box office?
