I can't believe so many people didn't like KANK

well, i thought that the story of this movie was unique and something new

but i still didn't agree with Karan's point of view at all

i thought at first that this movie was way beyond BOLD but,

after thinking a while, I thought that the acting was superb in this movie as well as the story of the movie and how it relates to the real life

i guess these were my point of views

sorry if i hurt anyone's feeling

😊

Seriously, bashing KANK is old and overrated!

The story of two failing marriages was good but the treatment was not right. The film was too long too.

It makes sense that most people will not agree with the writer's POV. Who would say its great to have an affair and leave your child? Not too many people! Like most films, KANK was telling a story. Could have been told in a more realistic and sensitive manner but I guess thats not KJo's style. Situations shown in KANK do happen in real life. But the truth hurts and many people do not want to watch it in a 3 1/2 hour movie.

I liked the film. Its not one I'm going to watch over and over again. I don't not agree with the POV either and even the ending. But still, its a watchable film, better than pointless nonsense trash like Dhoom 2. 🤢

Everyone has different views. I am normally a person who likes such different closer to life films but in KANK---Evereyone seemed to live in a dream world actually. The movie was bold of course and was meant to be "different"...but turned out to be the usual Karan Johar senseless drama--Not even One character was well etched out and no one seemed to completely understand what they were doing--All the relations in the film were illogical and it dragged and dragged to no extend. Big Bore---it could have been much much better if only Kjo had handled the subject sensitively and maturely. U have to believe in what you are doing and then make such a film. KANK was a brave attempt gone terribly wrong. The Bachchans were the only relief in the film. At least they, especially Big B, provided some light hearted moments thank god. Rani was bad(no offense), Preity was given no space and SRK-We have seen enough of those same expressions over and over.

Btw...yaar its gone with the wind---really outdated reviewing KANK now. Discussions abt it are getting boring and repitative.

First of all I would like to say is if the topic is about KANK then stick to that movie...there is no reason to bring in D2...because whether anyone agrees or not...but D2 was only suppose to be ENTERTAINMENT and was 2006's biggest blockbuster

Now getting back to KANK.....I dont deny the fact that extra marital affairs happen...but the way it was portrayed in the movie was completly bakwaas....and the only reason the movie was a mere hit was because it had Bollywood's top stars in it......if K'Jo wanted to experiment with a bold theme he should have had a strong story....the story made no sense at all....you only get into an extra marital affair when your having problems with your spouse...what proble did Maya and Dev have with their better halves.....even tho they both had short-comings their spouses still gave them alot of support and love....

Anywayz thatz my POV on the film.....not everyone has similar taste...so just bcauz some ppl didnt like KANK doesnt mean they arent mature or cant handle a bold theme
