'Rani has never looked more fab!'

Designer Surily Goel says Mukerji's fit new avatar helped her design better clothes in Yash Raj Films' Ta Ra Rum Pum

This is the first time designer Surily Goel has worked with Rani Mukerji.

Not knowing what to expect, Surily was pleasantly surprised when she found Rani to be a chilled out, no-tantrums star.

"Rani has her own sense of style.

She loves getting into the skin of her character and is ready to wait till she gets the perfect ensemble," says Surily.

She adds that Rani has never looked so good in her life.
"She's lost oodles of weight is looking gorgeous!"

Here's a sneak peek at Rani's brand new look in Siddarth Anand's second film, Ta Ra Rum Pum.

COOL COMFORT

Rani's personal sense of fashion is very classic.

She doesn't glam herself up from head to toe.

I observed that even during the shoot, she would land up on the sets in really nice looking tank tops, shirts and comfy denims.

She's the perfect Indian woman and knows how to dress for every occasion.

She looks stunning in ehtnic as as well as Western ensembles.

In fact, while in New York both Rani and me would go window shopping and pick up things we liked.

She knows how to accessorise herself well and has a good taste of what handbag to match with her outfits.

FRINGE BENEFITS

Rani wanted to go in for a totally new look for the first half of the film, and this also included her hair style.

She worked very closely with Siddharth and Dilshad (hair stylist) to come up with this fringed look.

I think it suits her well. But of course, there will be some who like it and some who won't.

Rani sports two different looks in the film.

The first half has her in glamorous, colourful, funky outfits, while the second half is a bit more sober. .

PATIENCE PAYS OFF

I think Rani has looked her best in two films — Chalte Chalte and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. With Ta Ra Rum Pum, I hope that will change.

I remember during the picturisation of the song Ab Toh Forever, I came up with eight different outfit options!

I was so nervous! But Rani was extremely patient.

She was ready to wait till we figured out an outfit that went with the song completely.

Such cloths don't suit Rani...I mean I dun think too glam doll attire looks good on her. Anyways...she is a wonderful actress so no worries ...also me big Saif fan n I am sure he will rock in TRRP..he is one of the best talents of this country👏👏
