Sanjay Dutt: Going Ahead

Sanjay Dutt is launching, Jasbaa to be produced under his production company, White Feather Films. His final verdict in the arms case is to be declared by 19 April. But without waiting for it to arrive, he is going ahead with Jasbaa which is to be shot overseas along with a Hollywood crew like his first production Kaante.

One of Dutt's close friends confided in us, "Jasbaa will be produced under Sanjay Dutt and buddy cum partner Sanjay Gupta's banner White Feather Films and shall be directed by Ajay and Lovel Arora. The director duo in partnership with Dutt's brother–in–law, actor Kumar Gaurav run a production company called Colossus which is famous for making music videos for renowned artists such as Jagjit Singh, Daler Mehendi, Baba Sehgal and Mehnaz. Jasbaa is being planned to be completed by August – September in Chicago."

Apparently, the film loosely based on Mark Wahlberg starrer Hollywood hit, Four Brothers (2005) tells the story of four brothers who come together to avenge their mother's death and discover a truth that baffles them all. Jasbaa apart from the Munna Bhai star himself stars Fardeen Khan, Arjun Rampal and Aftab Shivdasani. Suneil Shetty has been signed to play the villain in the film.

Industrywalas are left wondering by Dutt's film signing spree without awaiting the court verdict. In the last few weeks he has signed big budget films like, Raju Hirani's Munna Bhai Chale America, Milan Lutharia's Beehad co–starring Ajay Devgan and Dhoom maker Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap. He is yet to finish his on going projects like Sanjay Dutt's Alibaug, Abbas-Mustan's Mr. Fraud and Apoorva Lakhia's Shoot Out At Lokhandwala.

As one industry insider comments, "Sanjay Dutt and his producers seem to be confident that his court case verdict will go in his favour."
