*READ-Discussion: Why do we bash actors?*

Time for a new discussion...

Friends, there are many many topics attacking & bashing actors. What we forget is that those actors do have their fans who adore them. But still, some members just don't stop and keep insulting celebs over and over again.

No, this is no bhaashan. Today we would like to know what you think 😃

Imagine anyone attacking & insulting one of your favorite actors. How do you feel? Do you get really mad and instantly start writing a reply to defend your favourite?

Or do you start bashing that member because he/she said anything against your favourite actor?

What do You do?

And now imagine Yourself insulting another celebrity. The same members who had insulted your favourite love the celebrity you just attacked.

Now what do you expect those members to do? Do you expect them to reply defending that actor and bashing You? Maybe even because you did the same before?

Wouldn't it be better to just accept the fact that we can't love each and every celebrity and that others might have a different opinion?

I appreciate your thread. I would like to know if posting our opinion on actors also construe as bashing? There was a thread on Sanjay Dutt's verdict which was made GA and in that members had different opinion. The fans of the actor were supporting him blindly whereas others (including GMs and moderators) were posting unbiased opinion but still it would be construed as bashing by his fans. So where do we draw the line?

Shouldn't fans respect other's opinion and not brand it as insulting and demeaning as long as we post our POV being within the limits of this forum's decorum and also allowed to post facts supported with articles. Why should a whole thread be locked when few members turn offensive?

Dear, of course each member has the right to express his/her POV. But like you've said, there is a certain limit and as long as it isn't crossed, we're fine with it. 😊

Well, it often is a chain reaction. When one member starts bashing an actor, the next member replies defending that celeb. More members reply and then, start attacking each other. They stop talking about the original topic and begin questioning what the other said.

But your point has been noted, we'll definetly try to see if we can let such topics open and just edit/remove abusing posts. 😊

Can't that be called 'not so postive' comments instead of bashing if there are no offensive words in the post?

Not so positive comments are 'I dont like her', 'She cant act' etc.

But posting 'OMG I hattte him soo much 🤢 He's such a loser' is what we mean with bashing 😊

I dun react if sumbody bashes any other actor or actresss..but when it cumz ASH I alwayz try to defend her. 😳 .but sum ppl here hate her so much that they dun stop bashing her...n then I stop trying to make them understand wht I want to say... 😳
Therez a mem here who jst luvz to bash her...n I hate that mem for that...but now I hav stopped reacting on that person's postz... 😆 😉

Oh dear, how can you say that only you have been warned and not other members? We don't warn anyone if its the first he/she attacks others... . 😊

Very nice topic di. Well i havent really had any experiences with someone bashing my fav. actor but i know that if someone did i would be pretty mad. but i mean bashing that other member is not gonna get me anywhere. rather, i would try to explain to them how great he is as an actor. but for those members who do bash certain actors/actresses, we all can never know what exactly is going on in someone's head. for example, we cant know what kind of a person ash is so we shouldnt be judging her. there are many rumors about her but seriously, how can we judge her if we ourselves dont know her. it makes me pretty mad when other actors/actresses are bashed becoz the audience (us) never knows what kind of people the actors/actresses really are unless we know them or are friends with them.
