Found Maharaj also a decent first movie for Junaid (and an interesting story) and a bit sad that the producers finally released it only on OTT. Contrary to Junaid's theatrical launch with a remade small love story Maharaj was an original narrating an interesting historical fact.

Now again a remake from his father's production house - as if there aren't scriptwriters in India with original ideas. I already know that Junaid can act and Sai Pallavi is a treat to watch, that's why I hope all the best for the pairing (it's Sai's Hindi debut, I think).

I trust Aamir Khan productions to deliver good film like they always do.

I have not seen Sai Pallavi's work barring a couple of music videos where she owned them. I saw some of their pictures and they looked good. It's been long since we had a good romantic film.

If Ek Din is really a remake of the Thai movie One Day, then the story is nice: Both protagonists work in the same company... Junaid's character would since long love Sai's character but is too shy to express his feelings. When the company makes a trip, he gets the chance to pass one day with his love interest only...

The Thai movie, btw, won a prestigious local award in 2016.
