Releasing on whose Independence day ?

It’s been the norm to release big films on Thursdays. Nothing new. Just in time for the holiday on Friday.

Grasping at straws to create controversies out of nothing. lol!

They made the trailer said releasing on Independence Day and release date is August 14th. Which is not Indias Independence Day. So one can hardly call that grasping at straw.

" This Valentine's day" doesn't really mean the 14th of Feb precisely as the date of release. It means you get the opportunity of dragging your ass to the theatre with your valentine if you have one on the 14 th and the movie would be playing there but it may have been released on the 11th or 13th.

Waise according to people like this guy, didn't India get 'real' Independence in 2014 ? Are they supposed to release the movie on the 26th of May ,then ? 😆

I didn’t make the trailer nor did I make the mistake of Aug 14 as Independence Day.

Valentine’s Day is precisely on Feb 14. Sorry to burst your bubble if someone told you otherwise. Same for India’s Independence day is August 15th
