He should try for small roles and prove himself and wait for his big break. Meanwhile continue to do theater , work as an AD etc. Many upcoming actors do that.

Something like what Vicky Kaushal did or Kartik Aryan - wait patiently ..

It took 10 years for Sharvari to taste her first success. She worked as an AD in 2 movies.

He should listen to more music

I do not think Babil has depression due to comparison but due to media making fun of his kindness. Since that episode he shut him off. He do not attend any events or gatherings. He responded to a fan that yea people are making fun of his kindness and it is strange for him. Babil has got fantastic reviews from critics and fans. He needs an aggressive PR if he wants to survive in Bollywood. The more successful you are the more trolling will happen.

No I do not think it is that. Babil got his success and praised in all his movies. On social media people were saying he is talented just like his late father. It is the trolling he got for being too nice. People called him fake and attention seeker.

I agree with this. The problem is that people don't think a nepo kid can be so down-to-earth and humble thanks to KJo's gang of wannabe Kardashians and Meryl Streeps. So anytime he does something, it becomes a bone of contention.

Depression is a big problem now.

First of all, I hope his mother has his permission to discuss his issues with the media or saying things like he’s not as strong minded as his parents. Second of all, I hope he’s getting help and counseling.

I agree with BeKind, this is not about comparisons to his father. He definitely shut down after the trolling he got. And then a few weeks later posted about missing his father. It’s not unusual for people to do relatively well at first after a loss and then when some time passes you feel the weight of your loss. Whether it’s a hardship, or changes in life, or just life going back to normal … point being, grieve is not linear. It doesn’t follow a timeline or a formula. It can hit you at any time, and if you are already going through a rough time as Babil seemed to be due to trolling, the grieve seems much more heavier, if that makes sense.

I hope he gets the counseling he needs and in the process not lose his humble nature either.

The trolling wasn’t just about him being apologetic to a colleague for stepping in front of them unintentionally. He also got called fake once around the same time for saying some very green flag things about women. People accused him of being fake and pretentious for PR. I don’t know why but somehow he became the target of trolling for a bit and it made no sense.

He should learn to ignore trolls and focus on his work. If you make your account public, ppl will write what they want.

Focus should be on work if he wants to succeed.

He can make his account private if it affects him or limit his comments.
