But anyways, I don't have a favourite, but maaaany...and among them also some SRK has talked about (which I either already had read or then read).

This has eight books, the original link mentioned only seven

Yes, it worked I know them all and except the Stephen King book, I also own them. The ones from the list I got to know (and love) because of SRK having them in his library and mentioning them multiple times are the Artemis Fowl ones (my sig is from Artemis)...they are gorgeous!

I also like other Gladwell books and many of Stephen King...I love Matilda (also the movie) and have read almost all Roald Dahl books... I like the Robert Langdon books of Dan Brown (also the movies).

Why? They are exciting books (imo).

Some of these are definitely his kids favourites which he has given. May be he read to them or viceva versa. Nice!

Artemis Fowl has always belonged to h i s favourites. He cited it since he talked about books he likes.

There are a lot of kids books I like as an adult, too.
