The fact that Sajid's "own sister and cousin" didn't give him support happened, imo, because they knew that he did what he was accused of and not because he wasn't successful in his work.

Hirani's collaboratrice and her claim is a whole other story and I think, in the heat of the MeToo-wave, the Chopras and the Fox-Studios may have reacted a 'tad' too quickly...as far as I know, neither the Chopras nor any other woman sustained the claims of that woman after the initial uproar and Hirani gave a valuable reason why the young woman may have accused him.

Anyways, it is very difficult to judge - from the viewpoint we have. So, of course, I won't claim that my opinion is the 'right' one...it's just another one.

Yes, absolutely it’s my opinion. And you are a 100% right, Farah and Farhan didn’t stand up for Sajid because he was guilty. But they also didn’t do it because no one else was standing up for him because no one cared about Sajid at that point. Had he come off some money spinners the industry would have tried to at the very least find excuses for him and that would have or could have made it easier for his family to stand up for him 🤷🏽‍♀️.

As for Hirani, his movies made a lot of money at the time. I strongly believe that the powers that be did not want to lose him to this scandal so they worked behind the scenes to make the accusations and the accused go away. Hirani’s case wasn’t like Sajid Khan or Alok Nath where they were habitual harassers. Those will inevitably have some witnesses. This was a situation that becomes his words against hers. Her accusations was credible enough for Anupama to help her and for Huffington Post to write a whole article about it. But once again, I strongly believe that Bollywood just didn’t want to lose Hirani so they made it all go away.

One has to be really foolish if they think they can get anything out of him.

He is Anil Kapoor’s son. When people get desperate it’s very easy to manipulate them.

Shakti Kapoor never had any power but he was caught promising girls he would get them meetings with directors or producers.
