Kartik Aryan is the biggest winner in this clash. Happy for the exhibitors..self bought, corporate booking or whatever..They hit the jackpot. Kartik is now a star.Bhushan went all out for him..and has invested well in him. Shetty will survive. I was concentrating more on what people overseas were saying. The BO too trended decently there.

If Ranveer can make Rocky and Simbba loveable.( Can't think of anyone else who can do that today, pushing it to OTT and still getting away with it).He can do anything. It just shows that public has embraced him. Simbba is not only Shetty's highest grosser,so far, it is his most profitable film, because of the low budget.

Stick with your flowerpot actress who 80% of her filmography is composed of non-existent roles where she's got maybe 15 minutes of screentime. That's her standard film as Singham Again proves where she's got nothing to do but leeches off of actual stars so she can claim she delivered a hit. When she's not doing that, she does the occasional solo film which is not just a box office flop but in fact a box office disaster. Your fav had a box office disaster that was beaten by a re-release of Tumbbad!

Imagine being a so-called star and having a re-release of an old film with NO stars beating you.

2024 will go down as a groundbreaking year. Both Shraddha and Kartik have shaken up the industry. He single-handedly stood up against all of Bollywood and has held his own. In fact, going by the overseas numbers, it seems like BB3 is outperforming Singham Again abroad.

Kartik has gained both commercial and critical success. And without spoilers, he's done this with a very socially progressive message that could easily have been rejected. There's a reason the right-wing are trying to push Singham Again for being the non-woke choice. And the SA team is resorting to bots posting negative reviews to try and destroy BB3 critically since they can't succeed commercially.

Shraddha is not part of the establishment and so a success of this magnitude has to be punished. Since the film is too successful to be hidden away, her credit has to be removed instead.

I made the above post in another thread about the impact of Shraddha and Stree 2 on the industry but now that can more or less apply to Kartik and BB3 as well. BW still hadn't figured out how to handle Stree's success and then suddenly they got another setback with BB3. The familiar power players are losing and have no clout anymore.
